Rochelle
I gasped when the guy walked out of my closet. I took the chance to look him over. He had black hair like his eyes and broad shoulders. His chest was covered in tattoos and that's when I moved towards him.
"How are you feeling?" I asked
"Alive" he responded I saw him wince.
"I'll go get you some painkillers" I said as I went into the bathroom. I found the pills and filled a glass of water. I went back into the room and saw him sitting at the side of the bed.
"Here you go" I said as I gave him the pills.
"I don't understand why you're helping me?" He asked.
"I'm a doctor it’s what I do."
"Really and what about turning me in to the cops?"
"I don't know why I didn't" he was looking at me and it took me a while to realize I was naked under my robe.
"I need to shower. You can sleep here tonight" I didn't wait for a response I just headed to the bathroom.
Alec
I watched Rochelle walk quickly to the bathroom; a little disappointed she didn’t remember me. I listened to her shower wondering why I didn't just leave I had a lot of business to take care of. But I can't seem to leave her alone. I stayed seated on the bed waiting for her to come back out.
When she came out I watched her go to the dresser and pull out some clothes. She shuffled into the bathroom without glancing at me. When she exited again she was wearing pajamas. Her long hair wet and hanging low at her back.
"You should get some rest." she said ruffling her hair with a towel.
"I won't be taking your bed" I said starting to stand. I winced at the slight pain.
"Your stitches might open you need rest"
"We could always share" I said and saw her get really red. “Something we did on stormy nights, hoping your dad didn’t catch us” I added and watched her freeze and recognition come over her face.
"Alec” she whispered.
"Nice to see you and thank you for saving me" I walked towards her and she backed up. She stopped against the wall.
"I'd like to show my appreciation" I said close to her.
"Saying thanks is enough" she said quite breathy.
"No I prefer to show you" I said just before I took her lips.
