That she loves him and wants to be with him, why is he so blind? " She may have been your childhood friend but I know you better than anyone else and I know she's only going to hurt you." Jason takes her hands and squeeze them lightly. "I know how much you care about me but I love Vanessa and she loves me too. That is all that matters to me." "Is she the reason why you changed? Why you left the mafia underworld, is it because of Vanessa?" her voice wavers, her heart breaking as she asks him those questions. "I'm sorry, I know I should have told you the truth about her earlier...." he tries to hug her but she pulls away from him. "You see, I know about the dramatic competition going on in your father's company and I know you are here to shoot your shot on me. He sips his drink while staring at Caden coldly. The youngster gulps in fear but still decides to press on. "But Mr Lloyd, we haven't discussed the benefits of signing the contract and the shares and - -" Caden is cut off when the old man slams his fists on the table. "Don't push me, young lad.
