Odessa POV
“I’m Kevin Topaz, the official communication officer of the Daciana Pack council. You and Alpha Maverick are requested to be in front of the council right now.”
“You know that’s impossible. He’s not going to leave the game.”
Kevin nodded. “I do. You have to convince him to be at the meeting. Everyone’s there already.”
“Is it so important?”
Kevin nodded. “Get him there after the game. Everyone else will have to wait for him.”
Kevin left after delivering his message.
“Crap,” I muttered.
I hurried inside the stadium. I made it to the VIP area just as the players took to the field.
Evyn and I got to our feet at once to cheer them on.
Captain Maverick led the team. The stadium lights gleam on him like a spotlight on the stage. It could be because I only have eyes for him
