Odessa POV
I watched Maverick stoke the fire in the fireplace as the bitter winter wind blew outside.
I snuggled beneath the blanket. Maverick returned to sit next to me. He dragged my leg over his thigh and exhaled.
“My Luna.”
“My Alpha,” I giggled. “It feels so weird to hear.”
“You have to get used to it, Wildcat. This pack is just as much yours as it is mine.”
“I wish someone held classes for incoming Lunas.”
He chuckled. “You’re perfect, forget about everything else.”
He leaned forward and kissed my forehead.
“The pack doctor said Gage’s awake. He left as soon as he could. The bastard doesn’t think anything’s wrong with him.”
I looked up at Mav’s worried face. “What did the doctor say?”
“He took some blood samples. He’s taking them to Rex. He’ll get back to us in a few day
