Trying to get into the stadium was useless at this point. I could hear the music from the inside and the enthusiastic cheers. Despite my nerves, I was buzzing to be here!
Sure, Maverick would be mad after the game, but he’d get over it, right?
I hid my red hair under a black baseball cap, and I wore a huge dark jean jacket over my Daciana Wildcat T-shirt. I looked like several fans out here tonight.
Besides, it was so dark you could barely see anyone’s face despite the floodlights spread across the parking lot. Even though we were wolves, it was more difficult to catch anyone’s scent. The scents out here were intoxicating; it almost gave me a headache.
My plan was foolproof.
