Maverick and I arrived at work together, but he didn’t have training until two in the afternoon. He was grumpy about having to wake up early.
I kissed his cheek. “I’ll be home late. I have a lecture.”
He smiled. “I just love the idea of you calling my house home.”
I blushed. “I guess I won’t need that college dorm room anymore.”
“Of course not. I can’t be sneaking into dorm rooms, Wildcat.”
“You don’t need to worry about that. I’ll see you later.”
