Percy’s POV: I had no idea why I did it, but upon hearing my father’s unmistakable voice, I got to my feet and turned to watch as he approached the living room, dressed in a simple black polo and shorts that appeared too big for him. The man I was looking at looked nothing at all like the man I remembered.
