Eleventh Hour

Faith on Shelly

On a Saturday evening when it was sweltering inside Ocean's room. The little that's left of him in the friendship between him and Shelly makes her deduced to cook for Ocean and Wave after a prolonged chat.

His other friends had their own convocation in Ganes room where they make formidable noise and fun. Wave walk down to both rooms so as to be present to every activity.

He wants to chat with Shelly and he always wishes to be present in all places his friends are, most especially when they're amusing.

Ocean, who detest staying behind where lots of people were, sits-down with Shelly as she cooks.

This time Wave is away to Gane's room, So Ocean carry on the conversation. It was terrific that Ocean seems alive again with Shelly until the snell knock on the door. Both of them thought Wave is putting a prank on.

The knock comes on again, this time it seems it's not Wave.

"Come in, the door is unlocked."

It was Samuel that knocked like a stranger like.

"It is you, why knock Since you dash into privacy like a thief?" Ocean said.

"Had it been I knew you didn't lock the door, you ken what I could do."

"That's why you were stranded in the next apartment. You have to present yourself here all day before getting a companion."

"I didn't moan to you besides, I wasn't here for you. Sis?"

"Me?" Shelly asked.

"Yeah, can you give 3 minutes of your time to me? Someone needs your privacy," said Samuel.

"Of course" she stood up and went after Samuel.

Ocean couldn't understand what was happening so he sat lonely in his room anticipating for Shelly so he could enquire the rationale of why her privacy was needed.

Few minutes later, Wave came in.

"What's happening?" Ocean asked concernly.

"Sheriff saw Shelly earlier so he wanted a date with her, that is why Samuel came here for Shelly."

"Even you agreed to it?"

"Yeah, you at no time dated so I want Shelly to date one of my friends. We won't evict her that way. She's nice, you know. I took the oath for Sheriff that I'll make sure that Shelly is his."

"Even when you were informed of Sheriff countless girl friends and you've behold moiety of them. Is that the love you'll ever have for Shelly?" Ocean asked.

"Don't know Ocean. Shelly will decide her faith, I shall help my friends though." Wave hiked back to Ganes room.

Ocean was muddled and embarrassed. He thinks of Shelly's kindness as a mere friend towards them. Many times she'll cook her own food to satisfy their hunger. Did she really deserve this?

He was still mad at his friends especially Wave who promised to aid. When he wants a relationship with Shelly then, not one of his friends volunteers to relieve him. Now he understands the difference between one who is moneyed and one who undergoes hardship.

Owing to the fact that Sheriff has money all his friends in Ocean apartment affirmed the outcome without put into consideration the poor Ocean. What he thinks about whole lot, they all put conclusion on the fact that he is not serious.

When Shelly was back,she kept mute about where she went. Ocean doesn't await her muteness but she did kept hidden why she was called for Ocean.

Later the cookings and she's back to her room. Ocean lacks the vigor to let go of what happened. He thinks about it but he catch not a way out so he lets go of it to behold what will occur afterwards.

With the fresh happenings, Ocean may not be free with Shelly one more time. In his mind he believes Shelly would turn down Sheriff words. That was his instinct so far.

Few days later, Ocean and Ganes were having a heated argument about Shelly and Sheriff.

"I trust Shelly, she won't give space for Sheriff proposals," said Ocean.

"You think so? Yet I can trust my Psyche and it must come to real. She will receive Sheriff," Ganes make public his opinion.

"And I can trust her, she's hard to get at."

"What makes you credit her like that? She's a human who can't maintain promises and likeness."

"I don't see the response but there's a concealment that I can't be sure about. Maybe I'm…. No it can never be."

"Whatever way you feel but am positive it will yield effective."

Ocean scoffed because of the fact that he believes Ganes words can't come at reality and he wasn't seeing the happening the way Ocean has evaluated it.

Ganes wants him to accept his own standpoint yet he deart points to back his words.

"Should we make a bet? We can know who talks bollocks afterwards and am in," Ganes wants to prove out the actuality in his words.

"Bet! Am not accustomed to betting, however, what do we give away for the bet?" Ocean asked.

"Let make use of phone"

"Phone? You're going to weep for this mistake later I win over you. Am out cause I have no phone to get ahead with the bet."

"Your excuses can't be deliberate but remember I said this."

Ocean went back to his room to have his privacy when he was discomfort about things that happened up to date.

Wave took over the friendship when Ocean had no phone. He chats with Shelly both on w******p and f*******: everyday. This makes Ocean a loser, the relationship and friendship went to futile.

Few days later, Ocean saw Shelly in the beginning of the day in his apartment when the ambiance was still cool and silent. He was concerned about what she was doing at dawn but he didn't question her rationale.

Shelly now shows up everyday in Ocean apartment but they have no firm relationship like earlier. Ocean couldn't enquire why she stays in his apartment.

Few days later, Wave crashed into Ocean's room. He looks elated as if he won a lottery.

"Why is your visage cooled?" Ocean asked.

"Really?" He jumped on the bed. "I don't understand but I was happy, it could be that."

Ocean wasn't cheerful when he had tons of things on his mind. He made the "hiss" sound and brought up a book to start reading and keep down his boredom and loneliness.

"I saw Shelly these days in our apartment don't you wonder why?"

Hearing this Ocean seems obligated to the discussions as if he had wanted to ask the question.

"Oh! I saw her quotidianly as well. I was going to ask if she stays here since you have a close up friendship these days,"

"Am sorry, did we?" Wave asked "if you said we did then we did have a close down friendship like you always have with her."

"Man! It's all yours now, we were never meant to be in close association. You can go ahead with the friendship."

"I actually hypothesized you didn't conclude on that s**t you said? She's our friend, what more!"

"Ok Wave, our friends excluding me. I never wanted that and don't prolong this. Does she now live here?" Ocean asked.

Wave gazed at him as though he won't give out what he knows about Shelly's fresh residence. He stood up ready to hike out again.

"She stays with Mariam, her friend in our apartment."

"Huh! Why would she forlet her home?" Ocean was confused.

"Sire, I am out. If you want more inquiry she's available right next to your room."

Wave walked out without delay.

"What's with him! I never wanted all this though." Said Ocean and hiked out as well.
