The road in to Winchester was busier than it had been, but as there was not the same urgency in the journey the two took time to admire some of the beautiful historic buildings which adorned the city centre as they made their way back to the Winchester hospital. They parked in the car park and made their way round to the main hospital reception at the front of the large, imposing red brick building and enquired as to where they might find Magda. The receptionist made enquiries and found that, as a precautionary measure, Magda had been taken to a high dependency unit on floor C of the Nightingale Wing. She gave them directions on how to get there. The two friends waited patiently for the lift, both feeling tired, exhausted by the intensity and physical exertion of the last few days. Magda
