Rob, Joe, Alan Brodie and Ryan Hughes studied the photographs and video footage, of varying quality, but sufficient to embed Kovac’s face and demeanour into their heads. They would certainly recognise him without a shadow of a doubt. This was a procedure that all four were familiar with. Noticing the details of a targets physical features, sharing them with the group, picking up the person’s demeanour, their movements, their little habits and pointing them out to the room, missing nothing and reinforcing them in everyone’s minds. Taking out the wrong person was not an option, killing someone could not be undone, nor could the repercussions of such an event.
