As Rob climbed up to the passenger deck he could see Brodie parking on the car deck. He left the vehicle, locked it and made his way to the passenger deck. The ferry was not busy, a combination of out of season and time of day. Rob was careful not to inadvertently bump into the driver of the silver van. He had seen him climb the same stairway that Brodie had just used and kept watch on him.
