An hour and a half later, Rob pulled into the drive of his house in Bourne End and was surprised to see Sir Andrew Savage’s Jaguar parked by the office door along with Joe’s Audi, Alan Brodie’s rental car and Ryans car.
He and Ryan headed for the office, but before they got there, Justine appeared at the front door of the house.
“We’re all in here Rob,” Justine waved.
She stood in the doorway as Rob made sure Ryan was organised and they both made their way over to the house entrance. Rob helped Ryan up the steps and turned to Justine.
“Hello gorgeous,” he said, taking her in his arms and kissing her.
“Don’t think flattery is going to save you. You’ve been up to no good, I know that because nobody will tell me what you were doing on the Isle of Wight.”
