Chapter 24
ADRIA'S POV
I sat up abruptly as I woke up from that horrible nightmare. I was thankful that it was daytime now, but my body was still aching, and I could still feel a bit of migraine. When is mother going to be back?
My body was beginning to ache more than expected. It seemed like the fear of the nightmare only gave me a little strength, but now that I was calm, I could feel the pain gradually squeeze me. I laid back on the bed, and could feel the warmth in my body begin to spread, and become hotter.
Then the door opened.
"Adria, you're awake. How are you feeling, now?" The neighbor asked, out of concern.
"I don't feel good." I revealed, feeling really weak.
"Oh, dear. Please bear with it for now. I am sure your mother would be back home from her journey, soon."
