He yanked on the door handle and lurched out of the SUV. Isa was there, walking with everybody else, and all of the anger he was feeling toward Zorn transferred to her. “Isa!” he yelled. She shaded her eyes to see who was calling her. Right at that moment, another man, short and pear-shaped, called out to her, too. Topher might not have been offended had she recognized him first. But she didn’t. She turned to the other voice, the other man. “Dennis!” she said, waving him over. “Come here. I want you to meet someone.” Dennis waddled her way, his head bobbing like a buoy.
