chapter 8: The knock on the door

Y/N'sPOV------------

When I woke up in the morning,i felt warm hands on my face and a kiss on my nose,it was him V telling me to wake up. I smiled and he walked towards the kitchen.

Warm bath is waiting for you, he said while heading towards the kitchen.

I stood up and i looked into the mirror,I was only wearing V's T-shirt.

God I look horrible!I mumbled and after that I took a warm bath.

When I got out of the bathroom,I saw breakfast already on the table.

Come on hurry or we will be late for class, V said with a smile on his face.

As they we were eating they heard a knock on the door.

It's weird,V scoffed while walking towards the door to open it.

Do you want to me hide or something,I asked.

No,you stupid,V said and then he opened the door.

As he opened the door a girl appeared in front of V and when she saw him she hugged him.

And god I was already feeling weird about the situation.

Oh my god! I missed you so much,the girl screamed.

Taeyung was surprised and stood still and soon she stepped back and the both got inside.

Hey, how are you, I haven't seen you since a long,V said to the girl while closing the door.

As soon she saw me she stood still and widened her eyes.

Do I look that horrible,I questioned myself.

Oh let me introduce you to my best friend Y/N ,V said to the girl.

I was shocked by V's reply and I was furious. I could feel my heart tightening spreading pain along my left arm. But I just passed a smile to both of them.

Hearing the word "friend" the girls face lit up again and now V introduced her to me.

She is my cousin's friend Nina and her family and our family are really close friend as well, V said.

Oh! Hi nice to meet you, I said with the same smile on my face.

We all sat down and they both Started to talk, I didn't paid attention towards what they started to talk about because I was still not getting over the thing that V introduced me as his friend only.

I looked at my phone after few minutes and saw we were already late for college.

I wanted to tell V but he was so busy with that girl.

I grabbed my bag and walked out of the house normally, and texted V that I am leaving.

Ofcourse he didn't replied,so I rushed to college as fast as I could.

Finally I was there, it was a late but I still walked into the class, the teacher didn't minded my mistake at all.

He just smiled at me and letted me in.

After that class I didn't saw V anywhere not in the lunch hall in the lunch break.

And while I was sitting alone eating my lunch, I heard a voice behind me calling my name.

Oh jaden, I said while turning around.

Hey, can I sit there ,Jaden asked.

Yeah sure,I replied.

We both started to talk about the stuff,and suddenly jaden handed me a something.

It's a gift for your birthday,it's not much but this shell means alot, he said

Oh my, it's adorable and it's so fine,and do you know the meaning behind it,I asked while admiring his gift.

Yeah I know,he smiled.

It means shells mean good fortune and the colours represent happiness,I said smiling back and thanking him.

Put it on,he asked.

I already was wearing the necklace V gave me but I didn't wanted to decline his request so wore is.

Jaden was mesmerizing the view and said, gifting shells also means unbreakable bonds.

I smiled and we started to talk again.

Jaden was an interesting person and a good listener,so I enjoyed his company. He also walked me back to the dorm when V didn't showed up.

I entered my room and I was feeling a bit dizzy.

So I just layed on my bed for few seconds and I can already felt asleep.

When I woke up ,I heard beep beep and I saw a nurse in front of me and a drip attached to my hand.

I opened my eyes wide and asked the nurse What happened.

Its fine, and let me call for your friend who brought you here,the nurse said while walking outside.

I didn't remembered a thing but I still was hoping the person to be V.

After few minutes, jaden entered the room with some girl in the room.

I recognised the girl, she was Nina V's long gone family friend.

Hey how are you feeling now,Jaden asked me while holding my hand.

I am fine, What happened I can't remember a thing, I asked.

I don't know Nina brought you here, jaden replied.

Oh I just wanted to talk with you about something and I asked other girls about your room, and the door was not locked at all , I entered and you passed out on your bed, Nina replied.

I thanked her and asked jaden how he new I was here.

He replied,

Nina is my cousin and i saw her asking the infirmary for help.

And I asked her what happened.she told me that a girl named Y/N has passed out in her room.

As I heard your name I rushed you in here.

Thankyou, I replied.

Just be all right,he said holding my hand.

So are you guy dating? Nina asked jaden.

No,she is my friend and she has a boyfriend, jaden replied.

I remembered that V didn't wanted Nina know about our relationship so I squeezed Jaden's hand before he could speak more.

A lady Doctor came in and said, oh sweetheart your body is so weak mentally and physically.

You just passed out due to stressed and fatigue.

You will be resting in here for two to three days.

I nodded and she left.

Nina bid us good buy and jaden asked me why i stoped him before.

I don't want her to know that's it,

So please keep it a secret for me,I said to him.

Ok, as you wish and you should rest now,he said while standing up to leave.

I stopped him and said does V know about me, I asked him.

I don't know and I think you should rest,he replied in a calming voice.

I nodded and then he also left.

I felt so weak and couldn't move at all.

I had a thought of my phone and I started to look for it.

And I found it on the table next to me.

I checked the notification and V haven't called me once.

I just closed my eyes and slept.
