UNTIL HE TOTALLY zonked out sitting in the chair beside my bed, I hadn’t realized just how tired Marco had looked for the past couple of days. It made me want to ask him a dozen questions, none of which I could possibly ask in the present company. So I was glad when he was literally ordered to go home and rest. I somehow managed to set my concerns about Marco aside so that I could enjoy my visitors, although in the case of Mom and Grandma, I was sort of expecting that the proverbial ‘other shoe’ would eventually drop.
