“I don’t know!” she admitted again. “When I saw him that night before you arrived… something stirred. My wolf recognized him. But it also recognized you.” She looked up at me, her eyes pleading for understanding. “I’m torn, Kai. I feel pulled in two directions and I don’t know which way is right.”
