BUTTERFLIES

The smell of disinfectant, sanitizer, iodine and drugs found it's way into Rose's nostrils, the sound of beep found its way to her ears, she felt a strong grip on her fingers, it reminded her of the other night, the man tried to r**e her but fortunately for her William came like her knight in shining armour, she rembered how strong and firm the grip was on her hand how he forcefully kissed her mouth like a mad dog, how he punched her belly and slapped her face when she wasn't cooperating, she tried to take the memories away but they kept on coming, she shook her head and groaned.

"Rose, Rose" a masculine voice called her softly, she recognised the voice, it was Williams, she opened her eyes to see her environment, at first she thought she was in heaven, but the smell and the sound of the beeps told her she was still on earth. She looked around and saw George, Cece, Sophie, Greg, he was seating on the sofa and his head was plastered, she turned to the other side and saw Williams holding her hands, Isabella stayed at the door side like a shy lamb, Rose tried to seat up but Williams stopped her

"Stay still Rossy" he said, "ISA go call the doctor or the nurses tell them to come now" He commanded and Isabella left to call the Nurses

"Hey Rose" Cece walked towards her bed along with Sophie, their eyes were swollen like they had just won a fierce crying competition

"How are you now?" Sophie asked with teary eyes and a concern face

Rose opened her mouth to answer, but her throat were dry

Just then the Nurse walked in with Isabella, the nurse walked up to Rose and checked her vitals, she sighed in relief and gave Rose a beautiful smile

"Are you thirsty?" She asked

Rose just nodded

"Okay then I'll need you to first wash your mouth because of the blood their, then you can drink water okay!" Rose nodded again, she did as the nurse told her to do and spat out a mouthful of her own blood, when it was done she drank water and rested on the pillow Williams set for her.

"Where were you?" Rose asked Greg, her voice was still a little bit cracked

"I was attacked by that guy, but you should know that I was drugged else I'd have beaten him to a pulp." Greg defended himself quickly

"Sorry Greg, who was that man?" She asked Williams the question next

"Dave" he said

"Why would he do such a thing to me?" Rose asked a bit confused

"Who are you? Why.. what is your..." Rose sighed " tell me everything Williams, first your sister made me see you as a player secondly you both saved me, was it just a coincidence? Or part of the players plans?" Rose asked weakly

"I promise I will tell you everything once you are better, what I want you to know now is that I am not playing you and I will never play you and that I.. I.. you are my Rossie, I won't let any harm come close to you, now sleep my little flower"

Rose felt warm and she frowned to, "little flower? I am not a flower" why was he treating her like a child?

"You are my flower" He gave her a charming smile, Rose felt butterflies in her belly

but Cece was quick to interrupt her butterflies

"Sorry to interrupt you guys but Rose has to use her drugs and her lip balm, so her dry lips won't peel again, the nurse could not add plaster to all the cuts on her lips" Cece said

Rose felt her lips and remembered how Dave kissed her like a beast, she shook out of fear but Williams was there to hold her

"Hey he is gone now, and I am here okay" Williams said still smiling at her

Rose was still not used to being treated this way, but she managed to nod, then she used the lip gloss, then she ate soup and used her drugs "please don't tell my parents, or else they will be so worried to death " Rose told everyone around

"Grandma Becky made the soup she left before you woke up hope you liked it?" George said

Rose was surprised, she felt overwhelmed, such nice people surround her, "I love it, George we must pay her a visit once I leave this place " Rose said with a slight smile

"Okay yes we will now sleep" Williams said and helped her to lay down on the bed, we will? She for the urge to ask, why was he already behaving like her boyfriend or husband

David walked in "hey Rose, get well soon" he greeted with a smile, "Williams, George, Greg, My Love" he greeted them all except Isabella, he ignored her, he was also as disappointed as Williams was in Isabella, they knew her to be quiet mischievous they didn't know she was also dangerous and cruel. Cece walked up to David and hugged him, Greg averted his gaze on them and looked at Rose instead

"Williams can we see, it's urgent" Williams frowned and pecked Rose before he left the room with David

Rose was shocked, she wasn't expecting such treatment, she felt her cheeks burn she didn't know how to feel or what she was feeling, she looked at her friends who had a happy expression on her face, they rushed to her side and beaming happily, Rose was about to speak but instead a yawn came, the IV fluid was begining to work, she did not know the time she drifted into the land of sweet dreams.

Outside the hospital room, Williams leaned on the door and folded his arms,

"What is it?" Williams asked coldly

"Dave is being punished, but his parents intervened"

"So?"

"They managed to stop the media, and his punishment was reduced to a month suspension it's no longer expulsion"

"Sighs,"

"I know it is injustice on Rose part, but does she really care?"

"Did he mention his accomplice?"

"No, all he said was that he was obsessed with her and he didn't like you and her being together, so he wanted to stake his claim on her"

"What a huge lie" Williams said

"You know Nathan will never let him mention their names, he will do anything to make you marry Tracy so he can have no competitor then he can inherit his father's company and be partners with your company, you know that right?"

"Yeah, but why Dave? He used to be so honest and playful, how did Tracy manage to manipulate him?" David gave no response and just sighed

"I don't know man, but for now Rose is safe, Tracy and Nathan will lay low for now, also I think Isabella needs to be punished this time no covering her mess this time Williams"

"Hmm I will punish her this time, I still don't trust you David, if Nathan can go against our circle of friendship because of greediness, and if Dave can betray me, then you can, because you have a big reason to"

"What reason?" David laughed

"Who knows you might just want to get back at me for my good behaviour" Williams joked, and David laughed,

"Let's not betray ourselves Will, I am good being Dave and Nathan's mess cleaner, and I like you being my Mess cleaner"

Williams chuckled, "I can never betray you, David you are like a brother to me, you are the one that knows me well, and I know you well so if you want to leave me alone, here is the exit" he pointed to the wall, David smiled

"Same applies to you Will" David said

Williams was about to enter when David called

"Hey" Williams turned back, "I need you to Rebel this time, follow your heart this time be selfish this time Williams, you and Rose are ment to be. I'll support you, Remember 3 years ago? She is the girl" David said and Williams heart melted, he moved closer to David and hugged him, he did the same, after a while Williams withdrew from his embrace

"Stop now else people will think you are an emotional man" David said, and Williams smiled.
