INTIMIDATING

Time went by quickly, Rose and her friends were spending their 2nd year in the school, they are now also seniors, they were to pick a team to join, either the cheer leader, debate, catering, music, or sports. Rose loves music, she plays music in the school studio with her brothers, and she studies music the fact that she is good with many things it becames very hard to pick the team to join.

At the food canteen where Rose works, she was talking with her brothers, Greg and George

Since there are no one to attend to, she was free to talk, they chatted happily with her, until the big girls walked in, they are five in number with Charlie, she recognised one of them, it was the lady that was with one of the most handsome guys in school, she heard that they broke up last year. They all were putting on their cheer leader uniform, a fitted top with short skirt, while some wore leggings with their top, their hair was packed in ponytail they are beautiful and proud, as they walk in, all eyes were on them. The lady is the leader of the cheerleading squad, her other friend, beside her is a black, very beautiful to, but their beauty was no match to Roses' beauty, although she hasn't realised it yet, so she felt inferior to them.

"Hey!" They lady called

"Yes mam, good morning, how may I help you?" She smiled cutely revealing two cute dimples

"I am Tracy, captain of the cheerleading squad, I need you to be present for the big announcement today, we would be needing your best cake, so we can share to the newbies."

"Oh okay hang on for a while, lemme write down your orders" she took a pen and a book

"How many cakes and what size also? Is it the foil paper cake and what flavour?"

"Ahhh" Tracy, rolled her eyes and sighs

"Foil paper cake, the big size, and atleast, 100 or 80, mix the flavour girl"

"Okay mam" Rose wrote it down

"See, its William" Chloe said "so hot"

All eyes on him now, he is handsome, he walked alone, he came to place his order, this is the first time he will ever come here, Greg and George watches the show silently

"What time will you be needing it mam?"

"By 12pm today" Tracy composed herself even when she saw her ex coming, the truth is he broke up with her, and thats the first, Tracy usually breaks up with the guys not them breaking up, Williams just could not handle Tracy, her anger and pride was too much, he had to break up. He walks up to them

"Good morning ladies, Tracy good morning"

The ladies answered, but Tracy didn't answer,

"A minute please sir" Rose said, still scribbling down Tracy orders so her boss could see, she passes the note to Tracy and gave her a, pen

"Please write down your phone number, and also we prefer you pay via transfer, our acct details is written in " she was interrupted

"I get it now shut up" Rose felt angry, I am not the one that got you angry so why take it out on me? She asked herself.

" you will receive the alert shortly"

Tracy left with the girls, without shooting a glance at Williams

Rose sighed, and decided to answer Williams

"Hello sir, what can I get you?" She asked

He squinted his eyes at their menu sign

"Wow, I think I'll just have coffee"

"Okay sir, with milk or just sugar?" She said averting her gaze so, he looked at her and smiled.

"You can look at me you know, I am not Tracy or the big boys. With two cubes of sugar no milk please. Do I pay in cash?"

Rose felt embarrassed, he knew she was averting her gaze from him, she looked up confidently,

"in cash sir, please have your seat over there" Williams paid in cash and told her to keep the change, so he seats close to the door still staring at his phone. Rose sighs for a while and walked up to her brothers,

"I almost lost my senses, those people are intimidating you know" she said

"You are trying ooo."

"How is Musa? Your roommate?"

"He is fairing, it's just that he refuses to eat outside, or go out apart from class, he still feels inferior"

"Eeya, after the orientation, that he was called out publicly, he felt bad, that History man self is so stupid, now poor Musa feels very inferior" Rose said while addng two cubes of sugar to the coffee.

"Excuse me", she left the counter to serve Williams, she walked up to him boldly and dropped it on the table

"Here you go sir"

"Thank you, also have I met you somewhere? You look familiar"

"Yes but we didn't speak to each other"

"Oh, you are a student right?"

"Yes sir. I have to go now sir". She left immediately. They both met in the studio room a year ago, Rose and her brothers were singing with the instruments, just then Williams and his friends entered, both she and her brothers had to leave for their seniors.

"How is Cece?" Greg asks,

"You like her" Rose says

"Is it bad to ask of our Sister's friend?"

"Its you that asked, come on tell me, you like her don't you"

"Okay, okay yes, yes I do, but who would not? She is everything I want in a woman"

Rose and George squeaks happily, showing their dance moves without hearing any music

"Stop, don't tell her please?" They stop dancing

Rose makes a gesture of I won't, by pretending to zip her mouth

"Tell us more Greg"

"Okay, she is beautiful,"

"Whooo ooo" Rose and George excitedly exclaimed

"Kind, considerate, can be crazy sometimes, sometimes stuborn, I just love the way" Rose tapped him to stop talking, pointing to the back, he looked back and saw Cece walking in, she walked to Rose and smiled happily to her.
