Meeting The Royal Family

“Jeffrey, long time no see you. How are you? Are you okay, how are things in Romania?” Johnny greeted an athletic man who was quite handsome with a warm hug. It seemed that everyone in the great kingdom had just noticed the presence of a handsome man in expensive and branded clothes. A warm smile blossomed with time, the man smiled accompanied by deep dimples. Lavelle walked hesitantly behind Theophile, who descended the luxurious stairs and circled to the ground floor of the kingdom at a slow speed. It was a bit awkward to be in the middle of the vampire family. Moreover, it was said that tomorrow the rest of Theophile’s brothers would return to the kingdom to take care of some big thing. “Of course, I’m fine, brother. How about all of you?” said the man while returning Johnny’s hug. “A year in Romania seems to make you look more mature. Did you get any new insights there?” Theophile reached out his hand to hug his brother, but before Theophile could hug him, the man stopped Theophile from hugging him. “I see my brother is fresher than before, there seems to be a lot of development here,” he muttered. “I don’t feel that way, dear Jeffrey.” Theophile dodged and hugged her brother named Jeffrey tightly, releasing a longing that had been harbored for a long time, might even have abscessed, and was about to explode soon. Lavelle glanced at Daniela, who also looked awkward in the midst of the warmth of the family, who suddenly reminded them how beautiful a perfect family like them was. A second later, Jeffrey glanced at Lavelle and Daniela intensely like a predator preparing to ambush its prey. “Umh … I smell a very strong human scent, an aromatic scent. One could even say they had blood that smelled like red roses in the middle of the desert. It smells so sweet, so appetizing, and so tantalizing, so sweet,” Jeffrey muttered, closing his eyes as if trying to guess whose blood he smelled with such desire. Johnny chuckled, then patted Jeffrey’s shoulder like a daddy who had just seen his son get an award. “Don’t do anything to those two girls, one of them is your future sister-in-law.” “Is that true? Who will marry her? And when?” Jeffrey asked, immediately opening his eyes. “Marrying a pure human?” “I really like discussing things like this with the extended family, but you’d better ask Theophile that question. It’s Theophile’s choice.” Johnny glanced at Theophile, teasing him a little with an undefined smile. “Theo, why didn’t you say you were getting married soon? Is it true that you want to marry a pure human?” Jeffrey asked with a slightly disapproving face. “We are born with half human blood, Jeff. Marrying a girl with full human blood is no big deal,” Tristan said later. “But, really? Marrying a human will invite distress, especially if the human being married is a human who has such sweet blood,” said Jeffrey later. “I told you that it was the will of our King. Whatever happens later, it is about the sincerity of love,” replied Johnny. Jeffrey sighed slowly, closing his eyes for a moment. “No matter what, I was born with the blood of a demi-human. I couldn’t help loving someone, and I didn’t know about the wedding and I didn’t bring any souvenirs for the event.” Theophile really took a deep breath, then asked a few maids to carry Jeffrey’s luggage to his room, after which he asked one of his confidants to get some champagne bottles for the evening snack along with some other snacks. When they had had enough, Theophile walked over to the most comfortable sofa in the room and motioned for them to sit there. Likewise, Lavelle and Daniela, who are too clumsy to join them, but, Johnny the extrovert invites the two girls to sit and have fun with them. “Oh yeah, I’m Jeffrey Ravacko Blanc. Just call me Jeffrey or Jay. Nice to meet you two here, hope you feel comfortable here,” Jeffrey muttered while looking at Lavelle and Daniela’s awkwardness. “The two of them were good friends with Mark and Shotaro as long as the two bad boys mingled in human life. And somehow now your brother is in love with one of them.” Johnny broke the silence between them, until not long after a waiter came. “Can I guess?” Jeffrey asked. “Did you know that already?” then Johnny asked. “I just have an instinct that the girl is this girl with silver blonde hair, correct?” Jeffrey was smiling so seductively now. “Well, you are smart,” said Johnny, patting Jeffrey’s shoulder with pride in his eyes. “Let’s open the champagne bottle,” said Tristan, then took one of the wines made of white grapes, the awkward man handed it to Lavelle and Daniela. “This is great for people who are recovering from illness.” “Sick?” Jeffrey repeated. “Just a normal pain, maybe because he likes to stay up all night and keep typing,” Theophile answered quickly. “Um... I can’t believe it. What happens to people who stay up late other than high blood pressure?” Jeffrey asked then. “It’s not a serious illness, it’s just an ordinary illness,” Lavelle replied quietly, “Theophile already answered it.” “OK, what’s your name, sweetie?” Jeffrey asked then, “Why is there a human like him in this cruel world?” “Just call me Lavelle,” said Lavelle. “Funny name,” Jeffrey commented later. “I wouldn’t be surprised if you could be friends with Mark as well as Shotaro.” +++ “Playing Zenga is great fun, but it’s even more fun when we play together,” Hendery said, followed by nods from Mark and Shotaro. Jeffrey voiced, “Play yourself if you’re still fully awake, these snacks make me feel full.” “Oh yeah, Jeff, how did you get your hands on this rare fragment you call Zenga?” Hendery then asked. “I bought it, it’s a fun game, isn’t it?” Jeffrey chimed in with them. Meanwhile, Tristan, who was still fully conscious, could only take a deep breath and then tidy up some of the game slots his brother had squandered. “This makes me nostalgic again,” said Tristan. “At least you used to just nag Theophile, now you can nag your other brother,” Johnny said, and then took another sip of his champagne. “Well, that’s true.” Tristan nodded resignedly, then glanced at Lavelle who was now fast asleep on Theophile’s shoulder with a flushed face. “She’s so drunk.” Theophile nodded in understanding. Mark turned when he saw Lavelle sleeping comfortably on Theophile’s shoulder. “You can walk her to her room, Theo. Or just me?” “Just let me deliver it, you don’t have to mind,” Theophile said immediately. Theophile paid no heed to his brother’s conversation when he looked back at Lavelle, who leaned her head on Theophile’s left shoulder. Without saying a word, Theophile glanced at the girl whose face was now red. Theophile realized that Lavelle was drunk from having finished three bottles of white wine and a glass of champagne. Of course, Lavelle needed a break. However, Theophile chose to look closely at the girl’s face as if he didn’t want to take his eyes off her. “She’s a little cute when she’s drunk like that,” Mark mumbled, “You should take her to her room so she can rest.” “I will accompany her to the room immediately. She looked like she couldn’t drink that much wine but, why did she insist on drinking it? Theophile murmured while brushing the playful hair that covered Lavelle’s face. “Maybe she’s just a little tired. You know how humans feel when they’re tired.” Johnny answered Theophile’s question. Theophile nodded, then immediately went to lift Lavelle’s half-conscious body from drinking too much. Daniela, who was still a little conscious, just sighed, then took sneakers from Lavelle and walked ahead of Theophile with alternating strides. “She is very sleepy, take her immediately. And if you still have the business, you can leave it. I’ll take care of her,” Daniela told Theophile jokingly. Dozens of stairs can be seen waiting for them to step. Theophile fell silent when he heard Lavelle’s delirium, as if she was cursing someone—even though Theophile heard it, he didn’t try to hide his surprised face because he knew that some of Lavelle’s treatments would not be able to recover one hundred percent immediately. “I’m very grateful that you persuaded her to get better and slowly stop taking those psychotic pills and antidepressants,” Daniela spoke again as she opened the door. Theophile was still silent, he just walked slowly to the very big bed, then he placed Lavelle there is a very slow motion. “Tell her that I am going to a meeting tomorrow with the elders. All the heirs of Neo Green Peace will come, and you will only be the two of us here with a few soldiers and maids who will serve you both very well,” Theophile said as he wrapped Lavelle’s body. “So, you’re not going home?” asked Theophile. “I’ll be home maybe in the afternoon or evening,” Theophile replied later, “Tell her I love her.” “Wait, why didn’t you say it yourself?” asked Daniela, who was half drunk and now standing coldly, her eyes slightly reddened. “You’re drunk too, get some rest.” Theophile changed the subject. “Don’t make it up, you damn vampire,” Daniela complained. “Geez, you better get some rest. I’ll have a maid light an aromatherapy candle to improve your quality of sleep.” Theophile shook his head slowly, then quickly walked away from the room.
