Lake And Lotus Flower Pudding   Johnny had just opened the door of the beautiful golden carriage when a potato hotdog seller approached them and offered them some potato hotdogs but, very gently Johnny smiled a meaningful smile then Johnny took one of the potato hotdogs and gave it to Lavelle.   “There’s a sprinkling of permis cheese on it,” said Johnny.   “Thank you very much, it’s really delicious,” Lavelle murmured with the same smile.   “You want to go around that place?” asked Theophile.   “Of course I want to, I will follow this tour guide,” Lavelle replied quickly.   “Very good. Come on, let’s go to the garden back there?” asked Theophile then he glanced at Johnny who had paid for all the hotdog merchandise. “Johnny, you said yesterday that the lotus-cultivating pond can be visited? I want to go there to check at once, take Lavelle and Mommy to enjoy some of the dishes served there.”   “Oh, yes. Of course, let’s go there but, before that let’s finish this potato hotdog first. While walking,” said Johnny.   “Well, let’s go.”   Johnny, who was a tour guide at that time, suddenly walked in front while eating potato hotdogs sprinkled with a very fragrant sauce, he walked with wide strides into a magnificent building with two floors but, it looks very spacious and so organized. Lavelle and Christelle who were walking behind Johnny looked so amazed to see some of the maids who greeted them with great respect and obedience, the uniforms they wore looked so classy for work.   “Welcome young master,” greeted a man in a pink suit with a flower-shaped brooch designed from shards of diamonds that was so beautiful that glittered in the majestic light.   Stewart Hunkins, he was the person assigned to take care of the place, he was a man who was a bit chubby but seemed to uphold honesty in front of Theophile. He smiled very kindly even immediately offered a special place that was indeed reserved for some officials who wanted to hold a meeting at that place however, Theophile refused because he chose to go to the outdoor area which was filled with lotuses and had a little fresh air.   “Ah, I understand that Young Master Theophile would like to check the lotuses, let me deliver as I also feel that Young Master Theophile would be very pleased with the state of the lotuses and fish being raised here, I always try to do my best to maintain their quality,” said Stewart as he guides us into the majestic building and into a hallway decorated with brownish vintage chandeliers.   “I’d really like it, if you always took good care of it, Hunkins,” Theophile said, patting Stewart on the shoulder.   “Thank you very much, Young Master. Would you like to taste some of our dishes? I’ll have a few maids provide the best service here for you and your future wife,” Stewart murmured.   “Thank you, I will be very pleased with your offer, Hunkins,” Theophile replied when they reached a side yard that was over twenty acres wide and filled with ponds of lotus and enormous fish.   Theophile took a deep breath feeling very satisfied to see such a calming sight in front of him, the vast land was now a place of cultivation as well as a tourist spot.   “This is a paradise of the world,” Theophile say abruptly later.   “True, this place is really comfortable to relax and feel like premium class. I like this place,” said Christelle who was quite satisfied with Theophile’s hard work as the leader of Neo Green Peace.   “Thank you, Mom.”   “How about we sit down? This is the perfect place for a couch potato.” Johnny showed me some bean bags.   ***   Lavelle seemed to have run out of a few cups of lotus flower pudding but, on the round table there were still some pretty tempting dishes such as some grilled fish, fish gravy, steak, and some dishes made from lotus and fish. Christelle only ate a few pieces of steak that was served then she did some research on some lotus flowers that Johnny took a while ago, then she was very happy to say that the lotus beans can be used as an alternative ingredients for making good cosmetics because it has anti-aging properties early.   “Well, that sounds quite interesting. Mom, do you want to work as the head of the salon over here, Mom?” asked Johnny as he savored a few pieces of fish by hand.   “I don’t want to be the leader, Johnny. Listen to me that I just like to research and say what I know of the materials to be used,” Christelle replied.   “I see, Mom. But, you have to advise Dyovacko so that he is even more active to become a manager in that sector,” said Johnny.   Lavelle sighed. “If I’m not mistaken, I once read in an article that processed lotus can be used as a diet medicine, because it contains high fiber and is good for skin health. Gosh, I really like this pudding.”   “Gosh, that sounds pretty good. That is a sign that our future child really likes something sweet and healthy,” said Theophile with sparkling eyes.   “Would you like to order again?” then Johnny asked.   Lavelle shook her head because she felt so full yet, she still tried to add another portion of grilled fish which was grilled to perfect doneness and sprinkled with some kind of fragrant leaves and drizzled with butter sauce—Stewart offered the dish a few minutes ago however, Theophile refused and it made Lavelle feel a little annoyed.   “Thursday the dress will be ready ... and ... uhm ... next Friday you will make an invitation to all residents and distant relatives living in the other country, I will take Mom outside to pick up Lavelle’s sister,” said Johnny with a little speed.   Theophile nodded in understanding then took a sip of his juice, then he stood up slightly stretching some of his joints that felt so stiff and sore, he squinted to see some of the chicks that were still kept in a fairly large aquarium at the far right of the terrace.   “Lavelle, aren’t you in the mood to try water jetting?” asked Theophile.   “No, I didn’t mean it like that,” Lavelle replied, “I want to add other food.”   “Just order what you want, honey.” Theophile shrugged, very casually and immediately stroked the top of Lavelle’s head gently.   Lavelle pursed her lips then showed the dish she wanted that was on a small board on the terrace, Theophile chuckled.   “I knew you would want it,” Theophile said.
