CHAPTER SIX

I woke up to growling and when I opened my eyes Glitch was still in control and assuming a defensive stance in front of three wolves two shifted and one was still in human form. 'Glitch what's going on?' I asked fear seeping through my words. "I said shift you filthy rouge!" I could feel his beta aura but Glitch didn't flinch she just growled. 'Let me take control Glitch and if things get out of hand you can take control.' I pleaded I could tell she was hesitant but nonetheless she let me take control.

As soon as I took control I submitted as a sign of peace and goodwill and shifted back with my tattered clothes still on. I winced as I stood the pain and markings from the whip opened. I looked up to see shock written all over who I assumed to be the beta's face. "I'm terribly sorry for trespassing my wolf took control." my voice shook with a little fear in it. I looked up to see the beta mind linking the warriors. "What's your name rogue?" the beta inquired in a serious tone. I looked up at the beta's hard eyes "Valerian Blackthorn." I said quickly and with a little more confidence in my voice.

The beta's eyes clouded over once more and after a few minutes he looked at me and told me "The Alpha wants to see you" he said with an stern tone. 'Glitch what should I do?' I asked Glitch nervously and after a few seconds she replied with an 'Go with him I have a good feeling about this Alpha of his.' Glitch said in a steady and sure tone making me feel better. I cut me and Glitch's link and followed the beta into the territory.

We've been walking for three minutes and I could see how beautiful and big this pack was with kids running around and some adults eyed me warily before returning back to whatever they were doing. We've finally arrived at the Alpha's office when an intoxicating smell hit me like a freight train the smell of forest moss and ocean breeze made my mouth water and Glitch all giddy.
