The frozen air bit violently at his face, but he didn't even flinch. His fingers were wrapped tightly around a heavy iron crowbar, his knuckles stark white against the metal. ​On the other side of the fence, Marcus stood wrapped in a thick wool overcoat, flanked by six heavily armed Blackwood Tactical guards whose tactical helmets were already gathering a layer of brittle ice.
