Henry's Bible Appeared Again

" Wake up brother, we are getting late"

" wake up"

Hearing the sounds of his cousins, feeling dizzy and confused Xavier tried to open his eyes but he was struggling to open them, he exerted more force to open them up, still, after all his efforts it took him more than a while to open the eyes.

When he was finally able to open his eyes, the first scene that he saw was a blurred figure of two people, they were standing around him opposite to each other.

" Brother, you are awake " Xavier then saw a  blurred figure suddenly fell on his knees, then bending towards him, he gave a tight hug.

The blurred vision of Xavier turned right back to perfect in no time and enabled him to get a closer look at the blurred figure who was hugging him.

It was Golu, Xavier surprised that he did not die, he clearly remembered that the last scene he saw was an axe that headed at him.

But he knew that someone must have saved him and his companions, first thought Xavier had upon waking up was to thank this person.

Looking at the unfamiliar surroundings, the one-room house with nothing but four walls, Xavier realized that he did not know anything at all, he did not know where he was, he did not know what his two brothers so impatient for.

So he decided to ask them about the place they currently in.

" Where are we?" this was the first sentence he spoke after waking up while being hugged by Golu.

" Brother, we are in Gurukul," Golu said as he released Xavier from his arms.

" What happened back then?"  Sitting up, Xavier asked, he did not feel like asking multiple questions because he felt his body was weak, probably because he did not have any food till now, so he asked a single question which can replace them all.

Golu looked at Molu, Understanding Golu,  Molu sat next to Xavier then he narrated the entire sequence of events that happened after Xavier fainted due to the injury he had on his head.

According to Molu, a young man named Fiona appeared at the scene and had a battle with the Minotaur.

Minotaur was the name given to the monster that they encountered.

When Xavier heard the Minotaur, he remembered the bedtime story from his childhood.

The story states that god of reproduction and lust, after being bored with the women from the human race wanted to try something new, so he mated with different kinds of animals giving birth to all kinds of weird species, one of them was Minotaurs.

Molu told him that the Minotaur ran away with its tail between legs after being defeated.

And after saving them, Fiona introduced himself as a disciple of the Guru, then they arrived at Gurukul,  

Fiona's wife turned out to be a blessed one of the goddess of medicine, she had powers to heal the injuries.

She took away Faiza who was seriously injured first then returned alone at night to the house assigned to Xavier&co to heal all of them

After healing them, she left without giving out any hints about the condition of Faiza

" Don't worry brother, sister-in-law will be ok"

Golu patted Xavier's back as he assured him.

" What none sense are you spouting? She is not your sister-in-law, she is just my maid ".

Xavier yelled.

" Brother, how could you say that? She risked her life for you "

Golu and Molu were completely in sync as they yelled.

" But how could I know, why she did it? We barely knew each other less than three days"

Xavier's words were right in a logical sense.

As a crown prince and a king, he had to prioritise logic over the feelings.

" Brother, Are you doubting that she had ulterior motives?"

Molu questioned.

" Maybe " nodding his head Xavier did not decline.

"  Hahaha "

" Hahaha"

Golu and Molu both started laughing.

Xavier was confused which part of it was funny.

" Brother, you are terrible at lying"

Golu said as he laughed.

" Brother, we have known you since childhood, you act like you don't care or don't have feelings outside, but you have feelings for her"

" whenever you lie about something, you place your middle finger of the right hand onto the forefinger"

After hearing Golu's explanation, Xavier realized that indeed he placed his middle finger on to the forefinger, he immediately separated them.

" what the heck are you saying? Me having feelings for her?"

Xavier firmly refused but he knew in his heart that he began to like her, but this did not mean he developed complete feelings, they were just at the beginning.

"Hey, brother, don't hide your feelings, we are all men and it's pretty common for us to fall for a girl first at sight, moreover she almost died for you, I don't believe your heart is made up stone"

Molu teased.

"Stop! "

Xavier could not handle them anymore.

" Molu, you forgot to tell me about butchers What are they? and why did they attack people?"

Xavier knew his way to switch the topics, he felt like if he let these cousins continue talking about feelings, then he would lose his mouth and tell them that he started liking her.

Molu pondered a while before replying: " Brother, why did they attack people, but after asking around we found that the butchers are not monsters, they are humans".

How? Xavier exclaimed in surprise, how could humans without skin exist? If a human loses skin, either the skin regenerates or the human dies within 3 days, there was not any other option.

" Rumours states that it kinda related to some sacred ritual to their god, the god of

slaughter Ashura"

Golu joined the conversation after finding it a little interesting.

"Aaaaa"

But when Molu said the word sacred ritual, a sudden jolt of pain ran through Xavier's head making him scream out.

Xavier held his head tightly with his hands for a few seconds before the pain subsided.

" Brother, Are you ok?" the concerned Molu yelled.

" Yeah, I am " Xavier replied after getting his usual sense back, it was not the first time for Xavier to experience sudden headaches, he had been experiencing them since childhood whenever some topics related to Gods and goddess comes up.

" Brother, let's talk about these things later, you should get ready"

Molu said as he stood up.

"Get ready? But why?"

Xavier did not understand the reason behind their impatience, he did think of a few reasons including a banquet, a meeting e.t.c but he can not guess it exactly.

" Brother, today there is Orientation day for a new batch of trainees like us in the Guru school".

" Seemingly the Guru himself will be giving out the speech, I heard there would some tasty food too"

" The event is going to start within a few minutes, we don't wanna be late "

Golu said with a face full of excitement and eagerness as his eyes showed a hint of joy especially when he mentioned the food.

Hearing the response from Golu, Xavier doubted and exclaimed " Orientation day? There had never been such a day for the previous batch of trainees".

" Yes brother, that's what makes us special, I can not wait for the food"

Molu said as he licked his lips.

" Oh brother, I forgot about it" remembering something, Golu walked towards a corner.

At this place, all their luggage and bags were placed, he pulled something from the luggage, that was an Iron piece in a rectangular shape if looked from afar.

" What the hell?" Xavier unknowingly shouted in surprise while opening his wide.

" Brother, what happened? Why did you get so shocked seeing this book?"

Molu asked after looking at the reaction of Xavier.

"It's nothing, can you tell me where did you find it?"

After returning to his calm sense, Xavier asked the duo.

" We saw it on your chest after we woke up"

The duo replied in sync.

" Hand me the book, I have something to do with it, you can go and the Orientation first, I will follow you after completing the job"

Xavier said as he took the book from Golu's hand.

" Yes, brother" The duo agreed without any objection and left thinking about the book must have been a lot important to their brother after looking at his reaction.

Sitting down cross-legged, placing the book on his legs Xavier took a closer look at the book with rusted Iron cover again, it was the same as before carved with words "Henry's Bibble: A way to be blessed".

Xavier did not believe in gods but it did not mean he contradicted their existence, he accepted that gods exist but according to him, Gods are not special, they are just humans who became too powerful after working hard, which contradicts the beliefs of others who thinks that gods created humans and other species and worshipped them blindly.

I must have been cursed by this book, and this explains why I have been through too many of the events recently, I must get rid of this book completely

Xavier thought.

No matter what he thought, after all, humans were curious creatures, they wanted to know things about the unknown.

So, he could not help but try opening the book again.

" phat"

With a sound, the book opened up.

Xavier surprised because the first time when he tried to open the book he failed, but now he succeeded.

Then he took a look at the first page, it was mostly empty and there was only a single sentence written on it, the sentence was

" Eat this page to unlock the Bible"

Are you kidding? Xavier turned the page and found nothing was written on the backside, then he looked at the second page, it was also blank.

What the heck? Xavier tried to flip the second page, but he failed.

He applied more force, he gripped the next pages with both the hands and tried to flip through them.

Alas! His efforts were futile, the pages seemed to glued tightly together.

Then he came back to the first page, the words remained the same " Eat this page to unlock the Bible".

Fuck!You cursed book now you want me to eat a page! Eat my ass! I will show you how faeces tastes

Xavier thought.

At this moment

The door seemed to be slammed instead of being knocked.

" Foen! Foen!"

" You bastard, open the door"

" give me my food, you thief".

A loud voice of a person travelled to the ears of Xavier from the outside.
