I stared at my phone screen, rereading the message I had just sent. Me: "Finally arrived. I guess your butlers know what they’re doing. Hopefully, I don’t wander into a forbidden wing and unleash some ancient curse or something." Yeah, I know, not exactly professional, but hey—he did drag me into this whole fake engagement deal.
