The ancient beginnings

His kingdom.

Life in this realm is not the best kind of life especially with a ticking time bomb of a Prince, Prince Anei Wiir the third son of king Wiir Atem of the Acenh dynasty. This lineage of monarchs are known for keeping numerous wives so king Wiir iv has a total of ten sons that are legible for the throne after his reign and this has brought a lot of competition among the ten princes. Prince Anei Wiir is not like his brothers because he has quiet a reputation in the kingdom, he is known to be a fair Prince that believes that everyone has a point to prove, his only flaws is that he knows how to bring trouble upon himself and his people, he crosses over other realms to the point that humans now think they are not a myth anymore.

He is the most reckless Prince that has ever walked on this planet, he dwells a lot in the human world and that explains why he almost lost his life a month ago in the hands of those very humans after dwelling for a year in their world, they finally go him when he least expected it with the help of the woman he had left his kingdom for in the first place if there is something he is terrible at it's the affairs of the heart, women of this realm have also disappointed him, most of them wanted his position, they push him to work harder to impress his father. It is not like he wants to be a king that badly, he will make a terrible King and he knows that, now the human women are just as deceptive.

Besides he can never impress his father, he is the least favorite son of the king come on what can he expect he is a trouble maker who knows nothing more than how to create chaos and the factor that his mother is a traitor according to the kingdom do not help his case at all. She was executed after she attempted to take the life of the king several years ago and him being the only child of that woman makes him more of an outsider than a beloved Prince and he is aware of the fact that he do not stand a chance at being the future King of this realm whatsoever.

So women were his only get away but even that did not go so well and he wonders is it so wrong to want something as simple as to be loved, that seems to be the case. Like everyone here say he is a ticking time bomb who is in the race to the throne June because he is the third son of the king Wiir iv, the law of this realm says every Prince has to prove himself good enough for the throne so far he has given people no reason to consider him as their king not like he wants to anyway, his brothers on the other hand have done everything in their power to gain everyone's support. The first, second and the fifth Prince being their father's golden sons.

The first Prince is the head warrior of the kingdom, no man has ever beaten him in this realm or beyond, married to the neighbouring kingdom's princess with two sons so far ooh do not forget that another kingdom has done everything so far in their power to gain his attention, the king was his second daughter married to him, marriages after all bring with them territories and alliances so his father is so proud of him for that,  he is such a genius after all so why not right?

The second Prince on the other hand knows the affairs of the kingdom like the back of his palm, he is well verse with the diplomatic issues of his kingdom that sometimes the king entrust him with some diplomatic cases with full confidence now that is something Anei can never dream of. He is so good with negotiations that he has got his father a lot of peace deals, it's amazing how someone can be so good that he always get his way but according to Prince Anei his brother is nothing but a cunning Prince who always find a weak spot of his opponents to take advantage of but knows that only him so it's not really an issue right?

The fifth Prince, oh my beloved Prince he is exact image of his father in looks and behaviour actually someone can mistake him for the king if not for the fact that he is younger than the king, the king see himself in his fifth son every time and that makes him believe he too will make a great king like himself in the future just like himself, there is nothing better than leaving his kingdom in the hands of his younger version once he steps down, after all looks and behaviour are the ultimate drawing line for a great king right?

Now for Prince to ever consider himself worthy of the throne is the best crime he can commit, he has nothing out of the ordinary he is just a plain Prince just like his other brothers who are content in being just princes, who do not wish to be King definitely not Anei, he just wants a simple life with a beautiful wife and children to farm and watch sun rise and set every day. To teach his sons how to lead a decent simple life and his daughters how to value people who matter to them, to teach all his children that influence and power is not what matters in life but to appreciate the littlest of things in life but who is he kidding life do not favour him as such, so he is now stuck here in this realm where his brothers are always on each others throat.

He did not expect to make it back here alive or even dead for that matter, disappointment is the worst illness a man can endure, now let's face it Anei has nothing else to live for most if not the whole of this kingdom hates him it is not like he can blame them he has always been the worst Prince of the ten princes but that human woman saved his life when he almost lost it, if only she knew who he was chances are that she could have handed him over to the humans but even with that harsh reality, he seem not to let go of the memories of her. She looked very sad and lonely, he do not care though he has always been a fair Prince to women at the very least but not any more those creatures have proven to be worst than snakes in his life and now it's about time they saw the real Prince Anei, he has no point to prove, no love for the throne nor any reason to live for that matter so why not.

People have always hated him for his mother's misdeeds, later on he gave them real reasons to hate him for him so a little bit farther will not kill him now will it. He is fair because he gives people what is due to them now that may not seem fair to his kingdom men because they are all hypocrites who deserve nothing but what he gives to them. The Prince is ruthless and aggressive, he has not killed many people like his brothers but when he does he make sure that everyone learn a thing or two before he do away with his victim instead most of his victims are still alive in the dungeon, the only problem with that is that he denies you what you wish for the most, Death he makes them miserable but he do not give them the luxury of killing them and that is why people do not cross him at all in this kingdom ever since his last victim, in fact he is more feared than the king himself because come on what is the use if they can not love or respect him they might as well fear and despise him now that is an achievement, people say there is a thin line between love and hate but in his case that line is very well defined and strong it will not break any time soon.

Kindness is an alien word to him no one have ever shown him any nor has him ever bothered with it and that is why he could help but be cautious about that human girl, she helped him when her kind almost killed him so who says that she was not going to bring them that morning that could explain why she wanted him to wait for her so bad right but again why would she go through the trouble to save his life just hand him over again maybe so that they could make him suffer but the people who attacked him were from a very far village, aah this is so confusing the only way to know for sure is to find out but he is not dumb enough to go back to the human world.

Curiosity is really a disease, the drive to go back to the human world is very strong and the fact that everyone is giving him cold shoulder as usual in a place he calls him makes everything ten times worse. His elder brother is back from the infamous war that his father started, now if there is something humans are good at is the hatred against something which is different. Their realm is separated from the human world by the realm of witches, the witches live in a among the humans sometimes because they do know witches exist but they do not know where exactly they live.

Humans actually seek the assistance of the witches, the Shadow men and witches are the biggest enemies of all times, to get to the human world they have to go through the witch realm but that is a dead warrant that Prince Anei sign every time he goes there , that is the fun of it though the uncertainty between life and death is what makes it interesting after all who will miss him if he dies, the last time he went to the human world was when he met that human girl, there is definitely something about her though he is not yet sure whether it is a good thing or not but she is very intriguing. She is like a puzzle she looks sad but she is very cheerful, she is quite a beauty buuut her beauty is not what set her apart, there is something else something that he has never found in any one in his realm or in the human world as of yet. She is definitely special, too pure for this God forsaken world, she is the light that have no place in this dark realm of his or the human world for that matter.

She just does not fit anywhere, no matter how much he tries to convince himself that she is bad news a snake that is waiting for the right time to strike there is that part of him that believes that she is not the kind that will ever wish ill on others ooh well it's not like it matters right now when his beloved father has fixed his marriage with a daughter of his ministers now he can just disobey him like always, it will not be the first time but he is tired of looking for love when he knows he is not meant for that luxury so now it is time to take responsibility and do as his father says for once in his life, that old man is sure to loose his mind this very day when he receives Prince Anei answer to the marriage proposal.

You see, only a minister's daughter is good enough for him oh well it is not like he has interest in women any more, that phase has come and passed. For the first time in his entire life, he actually wants to be a Prince to dress like one and act like one so yes the son of a traitor is going to be the third Prince of this kingdom like it should have always been if marrying a woman who has the sharpest tough in the whole kingdom is the ticket then so be it, he is not going to find love anywhere regardless.

Everyone is so proud of this kingdom right, how will it feel to actually have him as their king ha he can already see the uneasiness of them all so with that final decision that ruling over them will be their biggest defeat, Prince Anei set out of his room dressed like a Prince for the first time to put his plans in action. He has a secret and that is he is way better swordsman than his brother will ever be but that in not their fault that this fact remain hidden from them, in diplomatic affairs he is intelligent but not very cunning though intelligence us a way of out lashing cunningness.

Its like a new Prince Anei has been born but this time has a mission to make everyone that has ever looked down upon him pay and pay with an interest they will, if anything he has always kept his promises and that is something everyone is well aware of about him though this time they do not know he is coming for them with everything he has, he sends them all smile on his way to the throne room, since he got back from the human world he has been hidden in his room. The king had sent for him countless times but as usual he has refused to see him but now here he is going to the throne room on his own accord this is something king Wiir iv never thought he would ever witness.

He is having so much fun already, by this time of the day the king is in session with all his ministers and and sons discussing the affairs of the kingdom, imagine their faces upon seeing enter the throne room gracefully not only dressing like a Prince but also taking his place on his throne that has always been empty since it was put, his sisters sit on the Left side of his father whereas the princes sit on the right. Good looks is one of the very reasons the king married that woman and it is no secret that looks just like his mother in everything but height, he is taller than all his brothers father included, his height and good looks have always attracted the wrong kind of attention and now he wants those very people to get a taste of their own medicine and that put a genuine smile on his face for the first time actually his enemies should be shaking in their seats because Prince Anei never smiles for a good reason and everyone in this throne room knew that, yes the fear and uncertainty on their faces can confirm that fact.
