I stand watching the forest entrance. We all wait for the first sight of the enemy. Some of us are in wolf form and some in their human form. Kingston and I are in human form so we can give instructions.
We continue to watch the forest. We can hear them but we can’t see them yet.
To me, this is the worst part. Waiting.
“Get ready, once they clash with us, May, Colton, Sasha and Mason will hit them from behind and the sides.” I say lowly to the ones around me.
After another minute, we start seeing movement. Vampyrs start coming out of the trees. We all take defensive stands. The vampyrs start to charge us but I don’t see Valeriu anywhere.
