The Princess of all Princesses has been born.  As the night is full of celebration, the Livings’ abode down the palace was adorn with much colorful lights and varieties of flowers. The joy is everywhere and there is no more room for negativities. Laughters can be hear and smiles can be seen. And the lively music brought more life to their celebration.  “Be careful with the fire, Cedrick!” A woman yelled to a group of kids who were running down the hill as they literally play magic tricks with their hands and it was some kind of tradition of kids to show-off their new practiced magic everytime there will be a festive gatherings.  They all still have the time to fix themselves before 1 o’clock strikes. As according to the Nacuas or the elders, the time determines their clan’s birth so it has been their culture that every celebration in the palace must be officially be held when the clock’s hand strikes at 1. It will start at P.M to A.M.  Meanwhile, above the village is the 1,000 meters above Palace. It has been secluded by the heavy clouds and only the eye of an Enchantor could see. The facade was changing its colors every after three seconds and it's not because of any visual arts or equipments but the Palace itself. As this world is full of magic, every living and non-living things has its power and that includes the Palace. It could feel what their country feels. So if everyone feels the festive aura, the Palace would also feel the festivity and from an ancient place, it will turn into lively colors. As what the Queen always say, the Palace determines what is happening with the world because the Palace is the world.  Inside of it was an enormous party being held. Every higher families was included to the grand celebration. The whole place was lively, more lively than what it is below. The ceiling of the hall has decorated with fancy chandeliers, revealing the Baroque style of the Palace. The laughters, music and clinks of wine glasses collided inside making a clarion noise all over the hall. Other Royalties and powerful families were wearing their most exquisite gowns, for of course, show-off that they are well more than enough in their lifestyles, not only with their sikem, or what they called “superficial powers”. They were all excited to see the newborn. After a moments, the music suddenly stopped making all of them stop, too and draw their attention in front where a heavy and large oak door opened and revealed the Royal couple. The King and Queen were standing with their most beautiful gown and their aura is filled with their overflowing sikem. King Vardon stood tall with his crown made in gold and adorned with diamonds on his head. He look so good even he could only be seen in his authoritative face. He never smile when everybody is around, but not when his wife or family around. For the King, his only happiness is his family and that his life could not be called one if his wife is not with him. True to say, he is obsessed but only with her, the Queen. Before the King stood his only Queen, Miara. Miara is smiling beautifully as she always is. She is the complete transition of his cold husband and her heart-warming smile could take everyone’s worries away. She stood gracefully with her chin up and above her head is her crown that was perfectly fit and shining as it was made only for her. All of them adore her. She look so stunning.  Everyone kneel down as their sign of respect.  “You are all gathered here to celebrate with us for the another gift from Heaven.” King Vardon started his speech and everyone is now looking at him.  All eyes are on him as he continued.  “Decades ago when the prophecy was given to my wife in her dreams and now, that it has been fulfilled. The rise of our kingdom will continue-”  The King’s words were cut when the lights gone off.  Everyone stayed from their pace but the murmurs in the room kept on walking around the corner as they question what is happening. They are all confused because this has never happened before and it was strange that the Palace has never been seen in no lights.  Queen Miara grasp his husband’s arms as she felt a sudden fear and she doesn’t know from where it was coming. King Vardon soothed her hand to calm her.  Meanwhile, minutes after the lights turned on making everyone cheer up again but the noise suddenly hanged in the air when the heavy entrance door opened and the cold wind engulfed the corner. No one dared to continue.  All of their keen eyes surrounded the entrance door when suddenly a royal guard entered. Everyone gasped as he languidly walk inside with his face was covered with blood and his right arm was gone! Some were started to be scared and some were just observing. He stopped midway as he roam his eyes around. The Palace turned into its dark color making all of them petrified. The guard spoke before he vanished, leaving them with words to fear.  “We will all die tonight...”  PANTING. Isana held her chest as she catch her breath. She was woken from her dreams, no it was a nightmare of something she clearly did not understand. She had dreamed of something untrue and she could not believe what it was. Isana reached for a glass of water near her coffee table and sighed in disbelief. She could not believe of what she had just dreamed about. It was surreal. It was like she was in the other world, in a fantasy world that only can be seen in movies. And, surely if she tells Andrea about this, she would really laugh at her and tell her that this was a childly dream.  But why there was a part of her that’s telling her it was true and that things really happened?  “No. Isana, it was just a dream, girl...” She mumbled to herself as she try to calm her nerves.  She needs to be relaxed.  Isana was pulled from another reverie when she felt a fast wind passed through her window. The coldness of the wind enveloped her body. She deliberately hugged herself and stood up.  No wonder the cold wind entered, she forgot to close her window. With her sweaty palms she reached for the handle of the window and was about to close it when her eyes caught something.  Her eyes narrowed as she scrutinize the growing silhouette near the porch light in front of the house of her new neighbor.  “What is that?” she questioned herself.  ‘What the hell!’ Isana’s mind cursed as the shadow becomes double and another came again and another. Her mouth gaped as her knees trembled when the whole house of her neighbor darkened. It was covered with only God knows the number of shadows!  “Waah!” she shouted when sudden a thunder roared.  Her heart pounded when she felt someone looking at her on the other side of the street and when she diverted her gaze to it, she saw nothing. Her hands more trembled as she close her eyes whilst trying to calm herself.  If she won’t stop lurking, she’ll be gone crazy by tomorrow.  “T-this is not true...this is not-waah!” she suddenly screamed aloud when something flew in her window. In her panic-stricken movement she heavily shut her window and ran fast towards her bed and covered herself with the comforter.  ‘f**k! f**k! What was that?!’ Her thoughts grew wild.  It was not only her dreams that was scaring her but also the things she had seen! She gulped so hard as she feel that her heart is racing and she's so afraid that it may come out from its rib cage. Sweats was dropping from her forehead and her body trembles tripled than it did few minutes ago.  She grasp her comforter and scarily closed her eyes. Afraid that if she open her eyes, death will welcome her.                                                                                     *** “Isana!” Andrea shouted in whisper when she saw her friend sleeping in her seat.  Mr. Liberth was busy writing the equation on the white board. The room is quite and no one dared to move or make noise from their seats, they are all afraid of their mathematics instructor might do if he sees them doing something else, except Andrea who poked her sleeping seatmate.  Andrea does not know why but Isana look so tired just when she arrived at school. It’s only 10 A.M but she looked like she had a long journey from nowhere.  Isana groaned as she lift her head when she felt someone poked her. She gently rub her neck when she felt it aching from an unwise sleeping position. Her eyes was still close because she was still sleepy from what happened last night.  Last night made her unable to sleep and now she knows she look like a zombie. And it all because of that freaking event!  Isana stretched her arms upward as she loudly yawn, still her eyes closed.  Everyone who had heard her gasped and shockingly turned their head into her.  “Isana...” Andrea nervously cried as she call out her oblivious friend Isana, who boredly opened her eyes and turned to her.  “What-”  Her eyes widened as soon as she realized that she just made the most humiliating moment in her life. She covered her mouth with her both palm as she slowly pointed her eyes in front.  Mr. Liberth’s attention gaze to her just right after she heard Isana yawned and he didn’t liked it.  “Did you enjoyed yourself in your dreamland, Ms. Stell?” Liberth’s voice boom in the room as soon as he speak. Isana gulped when guilt and fear crept into her wholeness. She slowly stood up and bow her head down. Now that she made a mistake, she’s afraid to meet his gaze. “I-i’m sorry,” she whispered but enough to be heard by him.  Everyone stilled as they waited for the professor’s scolding but it didn’t happened. Liberth defeatedly sighed and dropped the white pen on his hand and put them into his pocket.  His cold eyes directed on Isana.  “Look up here,” he commanded and Isana immediately obliged.  Well, she should or she’ll be roasted dead by her most terror but daring mathematics instructor. “Who told you to sleep in my class?” his voice gives shiver down to her marrow.  ‘God. I am so doomed!’ She wanted to kick herself when she could not find the right words to say.  “I..I-”  She was unable to speak whatever is on her mind when Liberth cleared his throat.  “Come to my office right after here. We will talk.” His authoritative voice makes her just wanna shrink from where she is standing.  As if it was cue, right after Liberth pulled the words from his mouth the bell rang. The whole section started to fix their things while she was just standing there, like an statue.  Andrea stood beside her. “You’re dead, Isana!” She closed he eyes again, because she’s really a dead meat!  “I f****d up, Andrea. Damn,” she cursed under her breath as she grope her bag.  “I know girl. I know.” Isana mentally rolled her eyes at Andrea’s words.  ‘What an encouragement.’  Isana nervously started to knock on Liberth’s office. And not so long she heard him giving the permission to enter.  When Isana entered, she spotted him busy typing on his laptop seriously. And she find it damn hot. Even she know she should not be thinking like this but she can’t help but to feel amaze with her instructor’s perfectly built body and face. Who else could be more perfect like him? Just a sight of him makes Isana's heart go wild.  “S-sir” she called. Professor Liberth’s eyes turned to her. She suddenly felt conscious when she saw him looking at her intently.  “You don’t have any classes, do you?” he asked. She quickly nodded.  His class was her last subject for the morning session. Liberth returned the nod and stood up. He started walking towards her and she was just there. Isana was watching him like he was some kind of Prince walking through her. The feeling that she had when she first met him suddenly came back.  She blinked her eyes when everything seems in slow-mo as Liberth reached her. Her nose smelled the addicting scent of her instructor.  “You can have my couch. I’ll wake you before your next class.”  Her jaw-dropped.  “What?”  “You're sleepy right? I am giving you the will to sleep.” He repeated but Isana still could not believe it. Is she hearing it right? Liberth gave he the permission to sleep on his couch? She could not believe it. She ran all the way here with nervous body and this is what she will get?  Isana licked her lower lip and she saw Liberth gulped. She unconsciously removed her gaze from him. “But sir-”  She was unable to finish her sentence when Liberth held her hand and brought her to the couch. Her heart beat so fast.  “Ssh. Sleep now, Isana. I won’t leave you.”  It was like Liberth casted some spell on her because Isana slowly and gently closed her eyes and fell into a deep, comfortable sleep.
