I hold Rain in my arms as she cries. Everyone is crying, but Lia is in pieces. We’re all waiting for news on how Levi is doing.
Twenty minutes ago, Levi called his dad through the mind link. Xale asked him to wait a moment because he was busy. Levi yelled, ‘Emergency!’ and then Mark started screaming his lungs out. Naturally, we all ran to his room to see what the problem was, and what we found will haunt us all for an eternity. Levi was sprawled across his bedroom floor, foaming at the mouth, and his eyes rolling.
Mark was sobbing that Levi had saved him, but someone tried to take Levi, and then they hurt him. Rain grabbed Mark while Xale took Levi to the hospital wing. Everyone followed, and Morton, Blue Fire’s Healer, took Levi from Xale.
