Chapter 10: I'll make sure everything is perfect

Roy's business was thriving, and he was on top of the world. But there was one thing that was bothering him - the rival mafia group that had been causing him problems.
They were small-time, but they were persistent, and Roy knew he had to keep an eye on them. He didn't want them to become a bigger problem.
But despite the stress, Roy was determined to make Cassie happy. He knew she was still hurting from her broken heart, and he wanted to make her feel special.
"Cassie, my love," he said, walking into the room. "I have a surprise for you."
Cassie looked up, her eyes wary. "What is it?"
"A night party, just for the two of us," Roy said, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "We'll dance, we'll drink, we'll have a wonderful time."
Cassie hesitated, but Roy could see the hint of a smile on her face. "Okay, Roy. That sounds nice."
Roy beamed with pride. "I'll make sure everything is perfect. You deserve it, my love."
As the night of the party approached, Cassie found herself feeling a little more excited. Maybe this was what she needed - a night to forget her troubles and just have fun.
And when she saw the decorations, the music, and the food, she knew Roy had gone all out to make her happy.
"Roy, this is amazing," she said, her eyes shining with gratitude.
Roy smiled, his eyes warm with affection. "Anything for you, my love. Anything to make you smile."
As they danced and laughed together, Cassie felt a sense of joy she hadn't felt in a long time. Maybe, just maybe, she was starting to fall for Roy after all.
As the night wore on, Cassie found herself feeling more and more at ease. Roy was charming and attentive, and she couldn't help but be drawn to him.
As they sat down to a lavish dinner, Cassie couldn't help but notice the way Roy looked at her. His eyes were warm and gentle, and she felt like he was really seeing her for the first time.
"Cassie, my love," he said, his voice low and husky. "You look stunning tonight. I'm so lucky to have you by my side."
Cassie blushed, feeling a flutter in her chest. "Thank you, Roy. You're very handsome yourself."
Roy smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm just glad you're enjoying yourself. That means everything to me."
As they finished dinner and the music started up again, Cassie found herself feeling more and more comfortable. She was actually having fun, and she couldn't believe it.
As the night drew to a close, Roy took her hand and led her out onto the balcony. The city lights twinkled below them, and Cassie felt like she was on top of the world.
"Thank you for tonight, Roy," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I had a wonderful time."
Roy smiled, his eyes shining with happiness. "I'm so glad, my love. I want to make you happy every day for the rest of your life."
And with that, he leaned in and kissed her, his lips warm and gently.
