13 ~Velma’s POV A few minutes later, the service arrived. The rich smell of pancakes filled the hotel room, warm and sweet, drifting into every corner as our food was brought in. My stomach rumbled despite the travel fatigue, and I smiled at him, a quiet happiness rising in my chest. Plates were carefully set in front of Jaden and me, steam curling off the food.
