Chapter 2 Going Back? "GRAA grrr gaaad gra," one of the superior monsters made a noise and seemed to ignore Ashyra's gravity energy. Like a general, it ignored the pressure Ashyra gave and took a step. It was about to attack when it noticed that Ashyra was close, but because Ashyra's body was so light, except to this monster, the woman was able to jump quickly and smoothly. It was as if she was in outer space with weak gravity, flying or floating with just a jump. After avoiding the attack, she immediately counterattacked the big superior monster. Simultaneously, she took out two swords, and the sword she was holding connected to the green veins in her hand. Just like the mark, they started to glow a light green. "Fool," Ashyra said seriously to the monsters, even though they couldn't understand her. Ashyra's movement was very light. Suddenly, the appearance of the sword she was holding changed; it became a long root whip. The reason for its change was the connection with her glowing green mark. The root wrapped around the neck of one of the zombies trapped in Ashyra's gravity energy. The enemy's head was cleanly removed, and it became headless and lifeless. Ashyra's gravity energy disappeared, but before the one closest to her could attack, she immediately went ahead and struck with her other sword. Despite the sword looking old, Ashyra's ability to connect her green veins mark to it made it sharp and new, cutting off another enemy's head. These superior monsters had the IQ of a normal human and were sometimes even more intelligent. They immediately understood that it was difficult to fight Ashyra, so the rest stayed away and waited for the right time to attack. Like predators, they watched and observed Ashyra as if she were rare prey. But there was someone in the group who couldn't stay still. It was a woman with a sexy body, even though her skin was black, her eyes were white, and her hair was white with a black horn. Ashyra could say that it was beautiful, especially its curvy and voluptuous body. This superior monster had the ability of wind and time. Incredibly fast. The enemy's speed annoyed Ashyra, as it seemed like the female superior monster was toying with her. Ashyra raised her hand, and thinking it would attack, the superior monster prepared. Ashyra, however, was the star here because the others were not yet confident due to the fast abilities of the female superior monster. She quickly defeated the female superior monster. The female superior monster stopped moving, surprised evident on its face. At first glance, it seemed like a normal surprise, but upon closer inspection, it was clear that the monster was dead. It was suspended in the air, and from behind, a thin but sharp vein was pierced through the head of the female superior monster. Slowly, a red liquid oozed from its forehead, and even with open eyes, it could be declared dead. The events unfolded rapidly. The other superior monsters couldn't believe what happened because all they noticed was Ashyra raising her hand. They didn't expect attacks from various directions. "Garraaga graa! Grrreeegaaraa!" One of the monsters roared, but before it could retreat, a vein pierced through its head. Ashyra stopped and looked at the high-level monsters still in chaos. She ran towards them and beheaded each approaching monster. She felt the tension among the superior monsters, as if they were planning to escape. However, Ashyra had no intention of letting them go. Ashyra knelt down and placed both hands on the ground. "Veins ambush," she whispered, and sharp veins emerged from the ground. They pierced the monsters, especially those behind Ashyra. Ashyra's skill was remarkable because the veins didn't just sprout near her; in this large city, where the monsters were in chaos a while ago, they now hung while piercing their heads. The entire area fell silent. In this vast place, Ashyra eliminated all the monsters in one move. She didn't even look tired. She sat on a large root behind her, simultaneously gesturing with her hands. The veins around her started moving, approaching her with various crystals. One by one, the bodies of the monsters returned to the ground after being impaled with sharp veins. The monsters' bodies returned to the ground as they placed the crystal cores in front of Ashyra. Ashyra watched the veins. Ashyra opened her lips, "Really hungry, Green?" she said, talking to the moving veins. The green veins didn't answer. Ashyra sighed and looked up at the sky. In the sky, a floating island could be seen. That floating island was approaching Ashyra's position. The sky was dark, but the sky on that floating island was clear blue. That floating island might be a paradise for a normal person, but Ashyra didn't want to live there because it felt too lonely and triggered her green veins. She was the only human in this world, and the floating island above her was the only safe zone in this world. Ashyra didn't know why she was followed by that floating island; it always protected her, and the green veins, which she believed were no longer in this world. Why was she here? How did she end up here? Ashyra didn't know where she came from; she had no memories. The only thing she remembered was that she needed to stop the green veins spreading in her body. She needed to live. She needed to survive, kill, and become stronger. Ashyra shifted her gaze back to the veins, which had finished collecting crystal cores in front of her. She looked at those crystals. There were so many. She raised her hands and placed them on the crystal cores. They had different colors, including twenty black crystals. The green veins on Ashyra's body and the crystals in front of her started glowing simultaneously. One by one, the crystals disappeared, and all that remained was smoke. The smoke entered Ashyra's mouth one by one. It was as if she were eating, but she wasn't chewing. She continued this for hours until the golden and yellow crystal cores were consumed, followed by the cyan ones, and finally, the twenty black crystals. She was accustomed to this; it happened every time after a battle. She had encountered black crystals many times, so she knew there was no problem with them. They were even more nutritious because of their energy content. Another hour passed. After finishing, Ashyra felt movement around her. She alertly looked behind. She was surprised to see that it was only the veins moving. Initially relieved, she was shocked when the veins attacked again. She dodged the sudden attack. Surprised, she observed the veins. Earlier, their color was dark green, but now they were glowing light green. Again, they attacked her. She wondered why they were attacking her. 'Why? What happened?' she thought, but she didn't want to die because of the veins. She quickly evaded their movements. Suddenly, the veins turned black, losing their glow and slowly dying. Ashyra also felt a strong earthquake. She tried to look up while dodging, noticing that the floating island above was crumbling. It lost its vibrant leaves and beautiful sky, no longer following Ashyra and now falling apart. Ashyra felt a stronger earthquake, making it difficult for her to avoid the next move of the veins. She couldn't escape their attack, causing her body to be covered in wounds. Ashyra's body wasn't normal; she couldn't just be classified as high-level or superior in this world. She considered herself special due to her extraordinary strength in defense and attack, but the veins could still harm her. With anger, Ashyra glared at the attacking veins. "So, this is your whole plan? You used me as a vessel for yourself?!" she shouted. In her anger, Ashyra failed to notice her own movements, and she lost concentration. She didn't realize that a vine had suddenly pierced her chest from behind. Emotionless, she looked at her chest. The vein had a crystal core lodged in its sharp tip. The crystal was large and an unusual green color. Ashyra had never seen such a crystal before. Was there a green crystal? "Agh, you-" Ashyra muttered, gradually weakening. Her wounded body collapsed as the vine was pulled out. Ashyra saw how veins sprouted from her green-marked wounds. Slowly, they grew until leaves emerged. She felt nothing, but she could see veins growing from the wounds she sustained. Ashyra tried to look in another direction. The strong earthquake intensified. She saw the floating island crumbling piece by piece. It had lost its lively branches and beautiful sky, no longer following Ashyra and now slowly disintegrating. Ashyra felt an even stronger earthquake. The veins continued attacking, and she couldn't avoid them, causing her body to become heavily wounded. Her body felt numb, and her vision blurred. She wanted to close her eyes, but she resisted. She wanted to know what was happening after Green took her crystal core. Ashyra no longer felt her body; it was numb, and her eyelids were heavy. She wanted to resist closing her eyes, but upon seeing a flower blooming in front of her, she couldn't help but close her eyes. She closed her eyes, slowly losing consciousness. But before completely losing awareness, she heard a faint and small voice. "I want you to come back." Ashyra didn't understand the voice, and before she could think about it, she lost her life…
