  He'd never admit this but Scott's betrayal hurt him more than he had expected. He didn't notice that his fingers were gripping the window frame so badly that it was starting to bleed.   The sudden creak sound of the door snapped him back to reality. The angry expression wiped off immediately, replaced with a smile that one would sense it's fake miles away.
