-Fae's view-
I laid on the bed on my back and had music blaring to hide my sobs.
Hello walls, hello ceiling
No one's home, and I'm feeling
All alone
Hello bed, hello pillow
When I'm high, I still feel low
No one knows me like my things
But no one answers when I scream:
"Hello walls!"
I was singing along, while tears ran down my cheeks and past my ears. 'So the government had control over my mother and killed her. My father is in a coma and the doctors don't even know if he'll ever wake up. Natsuo likes me while Angelo.' I shook my head and rolled over and buried my head into a pillow to scream. 'i don't even know if Angelo will turn me in if they asked him to. After all he just admitted he worked for them.'
I heard Angelo slide down my door. I propped myself up and looked at my door. "So now he's trapping me in here?" I was starting to panic. I trusted Angelo but after what I learned I feel like I can't trust anyone.
I looked around and remembered there was a window to my room, it was big enough for me to climb through. I opened it slowly trying to make sure Angelo didn't hear me and slipped out. But before I fully got out, I texted Natsuo.
Fae: Hey Nats is it okay if I can come over for a bit, Angelo had to go do some hero and I don't want to be alone right now.
Natsuo: if you like my place you're more than welcome to, granted my siblings are here along with father but we can hang out in my room!
Fae: That's fine, can you pick me up from that café that we ate at. My phone is about to die so I'm gonna leave it at home to charge.
Natsuo: oh I guess that's fine I'm getting my shoes on now I'll meet you there in 15 minutes.
Fae: thank you.
I put my phone on the nightstand. I know I didn't grow up with a phone but I know you could be tracked down if you had one. My father told me this when I asked for one for my 13th birthday, and told me for my own safety that he wouldn't get me one, and why.
I jumped out of the window and thank God I had wings because there was no way down. I started flying back to the café that was by the hospital.
I got there and waited inside, it was around 9pm, and they were closing. But I told them I was waiting on a friend and I didn't know this part of town so they let me sit in a booth by the window so I could keep an eye out.
About 10 minutes later I saw a white hair boy with a blue jacket. It was Natsuo. I ran outside and ran and did a jump hug on him. He had his back to me and wasn't expecting it. His body stiffen and then turned to me and saw who it was and he relaxed.
"Man Fae you scared me for a second." He laughed. I couldn't help but to smile. "Soooooo, you want to walk to my house, or call a cab or what?" He asked.
I didn't really care. I just didn't want to be around Angelo right now. I felt like there was something else he was not telling me and it just didn't want to deal with it at the moment.
"Let's walk! I mean it's nice out and such so might as well enjoy it right?" I cheered. He gave me a smile and nodded.
-Angel's view point-
My phone was ringing in the living room. As much as I didn't want to leave Face alone I had to see who was calling. Unknown caller.
I picked it up and before I could even answer anything. "Well hello our number 2 hero. Mr Angelo." It sounds like Momo, from the council Hero agency. Momo was the one that gave me my missions. I've only seen her a handful of times; she rather does everything by the phone.
"Word has it that you've been taking care of a peculiar little girl. She matches one of our missing persons. If she is then we have to deal with the matter." My eyes widen. "We also heard about the fire being started by another one our missing persons, we would appreciate if you could also track her down and bring her in."
My heart stopped, they know. There was no point denying it. "Well hopefully you bring her in soon. Tootles." The phone made the ending sound and I just stood. 'what should I do? If I try to run with her I'm sure they would take her father and no matter what they will do it anyways!'
I gripped my head and ran to Fae's door and slammed it open, breaking the lock. "Kid we got-" I didn't see her. The only in the room was her music, her bed a mess, her phone on the nightstand and the teal see through curtains gently playing in the breeze.
My eye darted back and forth as it felt like my heart jumped out of my chest and my stomach dropped. Her window was open, so she must have run away.
"God f*****g DAMNIT FAE WHERE THE f**k ARE YOU EVEN GONNA GO?!?" I was in a panic. I had no idea where she would even go. She wouldn't bother with her father. It was past visiting hours and he had no windows to his room, so she couldn't have gone there.
I went to the bar where she sang on the first night we came back. I asked the bartender and he said he hadn't seen anyone that night . It was practically dead. I was in a full on panic. I needed to find her before someone else does.
