The weeks dragged by slowly and I did not feel any better. The attacks on the village continued for a short while after my discovery before it ceased completely.
While it continued, I never had any incident of sleep walking and it led me to believe that I was not responsible for the attacks in town. It eased my troubled heart a bit. At least I didn't have to add the death of children and women to my conscience, along with my past crimes or rather Aine's crimes.
