Chapter 16When I emerged from the garden with what Sensei Ton had left for me to do that morning, Takeo and Yuriko were laughing happily in the front room.
“I’ll tell him, then. Hopefully he can get here before our next exhibition. We have just the one in Seattle, then the one in Spain before we head home,” Takeo said.
“Michiko!” Yuriko announced when she saw me standing there. “We had a big surprise! Our brother Isamu is coming to visit! If he likes it here, he’ll stay while Takeo studies at the monastery. We’ll have help with our exhibitions.”
