I felt a little weird talking about that, it was always something that had made me incredibly different than the rest of the fey. It took years to realize that I just wasn’t kind’ve different but entirely different – a new species and then soon enough others began appearing. Began emerging. I became Queen and one of the most feared Queens at that. Though I never let it show that it bothered me, it had. “You know...” I was pulled out of my thoughts and looked at Jude. “I like my women how I like my coffee...” I raised a slow brow, looking at him curiously. “Strong.” He grinned and winked at me. It was such a random thing to say, I hadn’t expected it and truthfully I think that was what made me laugh. How caught off guard I was by that comment, draining the rest of the of my wine that was sitting in the cup I held. "What about you? Interesting facts? Embarrassing things?" I asked, tilting my head a little. “Hmm...” I watched as he seemed to rub his beard, looking towards the ceiling. “I used to be an agent of sorts for this organization that kept people like us safe from hunters and other dangers out there.” My brows rose a little at that, it was not something I had expected him to say but it was incredibly interesting to know. He was an agent of sorts? I almost had a sense of deja vu like somehow I knew that before... weird. “I was one of the top ranked agents.” He added. "Top ranked huh?" I grinned at him. "Seems like that must've been fun." I took a second to stand up and disappear around the corner real fast from my room and reached out, grabbing another bottle of wine and bringing it in with me. Pouring more wine into my glass I set it down next to the other bottle that was already in the room. We both had one now. “Hmm... Ok then, what’s your favorite thing to do?” I asked and then took a sip from my glass, watching him. “I like to watch baseball. My son and I used to play when he was a kid.” "Oh! I actually know that sport, one of the few I actually caught on to!" I grinned feeling triumphant about that. Mortal things still confused me at times but there were some things I understood and caught on to. "Football makes no sense though." “Meh football is okay, I could take it or leave it.” I watched as Jude reached for the bottle near him, pouring himself another glass of wine as well. This was definitely not how I expected things to go, we were what drinking wine and just exchanging facts about one another? I didn’t hate the idea but it was certainly not something I would’ve ever expected to spend my night doing when there was a guy that looked like him in my room sitting on my bed. He chuckled and I blinked in confusion. “What about you? Surely, there must be something that you like doing other than babysitting drunks at a bar?” "Actually just uh.." I felt my eyes widen a little as I thought about the fey courts and my status there before taking a long drink from the cup and shrugged my shoulders. "I enjoy hanging around the bar it's a break from my other job." Kept me from having to deal with the bullshit of the other courts that seemed to constnatly have some sort of issue with me. I was never enough, never doing enough, never helping enough. It was frustrating. Glancing up towards him, I smiled. “Besides though, I met you, I think that’s a plus in all honesty.” He was smiling, I could get lost in his smile if I were to be honest and those eyes. I couldn’t tell if it was all the wine i’d been drinking or not that caused that thought process though. “Meeting you at the bar was definitely a plus for me too, Skittles.” Sometimes when he spoke it was like my stomach was full of butterflies and I was extremely nervous. This was not an exception to that at all. Draining my glass I set it down beside me and breathed in a little, grinning as I looked at him. “So are you more of a girl on top or under you type, Wolfie?” I leaned back a little onto my right arm, watching him. “I’d ask if you’re a sub or a dom but I think that one clearly speaks for itself.” There was a small sound that came from him as he was drinking his wine, clearly he hadn’t expected that kind of question. His hand found his chin again, seeming to rub his beard down some. “Depends on the mood that’s going on.” He answered, pushing his glass away. “And definitely a dom, but you can always try to reverse that.” “Mm, maybe but I always was a sucker for the dom types.” I smirked and shrugged. “They’re way more fun anyway.” There was so much I wanted to ask him, the problem was every single thing I wanted to ask him made me just want to strip him out of his clothing. Which meant I should probably avoid them to respect his wishes. Chewing at my bottom lip I glanced up at him. “Starting to think I’m the one asking all the questions here. Your turn. Ask anything you want.” I could hear a slight groan as he made the sound and just barely noticed him lick his lips, raising a brow at the reaction. It was interesting to watch him because if I were honest it seemed like he was almost having to fight himself and not act on his own wants. Maybe I was wrong though? I don’t know but something about the way he was moving, acting even? It had me curious as ever.
