Chapter 5
Gregory woke to the chirp of a bird. He blinked several times to clear his still sleep-muddled brain. He glanced to his right. Edward lay on his stomach still sleeping. His brown curls were mussed and standing on end. The sight was so appealing his already erect c**k perked up. Gregory smiled and glanced to his left. The spot recently occupied by Katherine was empty now. Careful not to disrupt Edward too much, he sat up and looked around the chamber, seeking Katherine.
There she stood by the window. She’d pulled back the covering and peered out into the morning light. She also let in cold air. Gregory shivered.
Katherine turned then, perhaps feeling his gaze. “Good morning.”
“‘Morning. Why are you out of bed letting all the cold air in?”
