CHAPTER 27 Anjali No regrets. Yes, I had no regrets after quitting the job. In fact, I felt as if a huge weight has been lifted off me that was troubling me for past twenty four hours. However, Arav’s reaction or rather lack of it bewildered me. Nevertheless, I exited Rohan’s office content. I entered the lift holding a box with my stuff and I was surprised to find Mr. Varun Malhotra there already. For a minute I thought of moving back and taking the stairs, but that would mean I am scared of him and I didn’t want to give him that satisfaction. So, I ignored him completely concentrating all my attention to the box I was holding. “You have resigned I infer.” He said giving me and the box I am holding a sideway glance. Don’t reply.
