Flasback

Eliana is a second-year student at the college. She has a fair complexion, blue eyes and blonde hair. She is a simple looking girl and wears glasses.

She lives with her uncle and her cousin sister.

Eliana lost her family in an accident. She was only eight years old when she lost her parents.

Cops said that they lost their car’s control when they were returning from the hospital.

They died from pain and hypothermia.

Eliana tried to tell everyone that it was not an accident someone was there and that person killed her parent’s, but the cops didn’t find anything and the case was closed.

At College

Eliana: s**t! We got late. Mr Douglas is going to kill us. This is the third time this month.

Allison: It’s okay we will manage something and you are one of the favourite students of Mr Douglas. 

Eliana: Let’s see!

Alison: By the way, you are coming to see my dance rehearsals, right? Don’t say dare to say no. 

Eliana: I have a history class. I had already missed too many lectures. Sorry. 

Allison: This is not fair. You have to come.

Eliana: Okay, I will try.

After Class

~ Eliana POV ~

Allison had called me to see her dance practice. After dance practice, we will go to the canteen for lunch.

While going to the auditorium I passed through the tennis court.

There’s a tennis match going on between a freshman and senior and everyone is cheering for their friends or some are just to enjoy the match.

I don’t know the other guy but that senior is very famous.

I had seen him with many girls.

He looks good, but I heard that he has a bad temper.

He is famous for his bad behaviour and charming looks.

Most of the time he is involved in street fights due to his anger issues, but girls are still crazy about him.

After passing the tennis court, I reached the auditorium and there I saw that Allison was practising.

I waved while glancing in her direction and Allison waved back.

I saw her practice. After half an hour she got free and we left the auditorium and after that, we went to the cafeteria. 

We waited for a table to get empty.

Allison asserted to me in a tired voice, “It’s very difficult to get a seat at lunchtime. I think we have to wait.”

I then glanced at her with a smile on my face and then I replied to her in a low voice, “I am feeling hungry.

Can’t we just order something that we can eat on our way or in the park?”

Allison only nodded at me and after that, she said to me, “Alright, I am also feeling very hungry.”

We took our order and went to see the tennis match.

We saw the match while eating and then we left for our lectures. 

After college, we left for our home.

Next Day In College

There was a crowd gathered in front of our building.

Maybe someone was fighting over there.

When we reached that place we saw that two of our seniors, Adam and Carter.

They were arguing about something related to the match.

They were blaming Adam for using steroids or some sort of illegal medicine to enhance his athletic performance, but nothing happened there.

After some time everyone left that place. 

When suddenly, Allison asked me in a loud voice getting me out of my daze, “Will you go to the Birthday party?”

I only shook my head at her question and then I asserted to her in a calm voice, “No, I had some work after college. So, I will be late tonight.”

Allison asked me with shock written all over her face, “You are again going in the woods?”

She is such a worrywart. I don’t want her to get worried about me for no reason. 

“Yes, I will be back before dinner. So, don’t worry about me, alright?”, I replied to her with a smile on my face.

Allison only sighed as she knows that nothing can change my mind.

“I seriously hate it when you suddenly decide to wander all alone in the woods, but I know the reason.

So, don’t be late in getting back”, she said to me while she embraced me in a tight hug. 

Ten years ago my mom and dad died in a car accident on this same day and every year I go to my mom and dad’s grave.

Thereafter, I go to the accident spot and spend some time there.

I had gone there some times with Allison. She just sits there with me, but she doesn’t say anything.

After college, we left together.

First, we went to the flowers shop and bought some flower. While going towards the grave we didn’t talk much. We reached there and sat there for some time.

After that, we left together and walked for some time.

I glanced at Allison and then I said to her with a doleful expression on my face, “You should go. I will be fine alone.”

Allison then asked me in a concerned tone, “Will you be alright?”

I immediately responded to her with a forced smile on my face, “I will be fine. Trust me, I have gone through the worst.” 

Allison hugged me for the last time before leaving me. She then turned around and after that, she said to me in a loud voice, “Take care.” 

Then she left. She went to the party and I left for the woods. 

I was now walking towards the woods while I was still trying to remember my past.

I reached my mom and dad’s accident spot.

It was getting dark and I was feeling a bit cold.

I then sat there for some time whilst I was thinking about that night. 

Then suddenly, I heard some sounds in the woods.

I tried to look there, but it was too dark for me to see anything properly.

I then get out up from that spot and after that, I started to head toward the place from where the noises were coming.

After walking for a while, I reached some factory.

There were lots of boys from college standing there.

I think that a fight may start at any moment judging from their expressions.

I tried to listen to what they were talking about and then I heard them saying that they were there for a fight with Adam and Carter.

I tried to call the cops, but there was no signal in the woods.

So, I ran towards the road. When I reached the road. I again tried to call the cops. Thereupon, I told them everything that I saw in the factory. 

The person who picked the call told me that he will be reaching there as soon as possible and he also warned me to stay away from that area. 

After some time I saw Adam and Carter going towards the factory in their car.

I tried to stop them but they didn’t notice me. Cops reached there at the right moment. I felt a bit relaxed now.

After watching cops everyone started running into the woods.

I tried to see what’s going on.

So, I followed the cops and went into the woods.

When I was following them I heard someone’s growl. Is it a wolf?

I got terrified and started to run away from that place.

I felt that something crossed my path very fast.

I felt my body getting numb and then I tried to move, but my body just didn't listen to me. 

It was so close to me that I felt that something.

I then started to head deep into the forest. While I was walking, I saw something glowing. 

When I tried to see carefully, I saw someone’s blue eyes glowing.

That thing was standing on two feet like humans.

That thing then looked towards me.

I was scared to my bone.

Something similar to that thing dashed toward him and started to fight. I screamed in fear and after that, I fainted then and there. 

Next Day At The Hospital

I woke up and found myself in the hospital.

After some time a cop came and asked me, “Mam, you were the one who informed us?”

I replied, “Yes”.

Then he again asked me what I saw there and I told them everything that I witnessed in the factory.

Then the cop asserted to me, “We found a dead body in the woods close to that place where we found you.

Did you saw anything?”

I remembered what I saw and tried to explain that to that officer, but no one believed me. In the end, they said that maybe I saw some animal and the same animal attacked the boy and after witnessing such a dreadful thing, I fainted. 

I got depressed and tried to explain again and again, but no one believed me.

Doctors checked me and said that I am totally fine and then they gave discharge to me

Allison came to pick me and we left for home.

She asked me what happened and I tried to explain to her everything. 

Even Allison said that I might have seen some animals.

No one believed me in the end.

Everything that happened years ago with my mom and dad flashed in my head

At that time also, no one believed me and even today no one is believing me.

It is so damn frustrating!

I don’t know if I am feeling scared or angry?
