After training like a crazy person, my bed welcomed me. I think I may have passed out as soon as my head hit the pillow. I woke up refreshed, but there was a sense of impending dread washing over me that I could not shake. I hopped in the shower, threw on a pair of jeans, my tupac tshirt and favorite pair of converse and headed down to breakfast. I grabbed a plate, thankful that morning sickness seemed to be over and I could at least eat in peace this morning. Then I heard a dish break, I looked up to see Rani standing in line, her plate on the floor, Mohammed rushing to her side, her eyes glassed over. f**k, she's seeing something, I have seen that look far to many times, I just hope it isn't whatever I've been sensing. After what seems like eternity, Mohammed sat her down at the table beside me, she's shaking, clearly this isn't good.

'We're about to be attacked, Alpha Roman and all his warriors, Jenn, All of them' they'll be here in an hour' she tells us. Mohammed, Tony and Keisha mindlink the warriors from the three packs and tell them to prepare for battle. I link the rest of The Legion and have our elderly, women, and children taken to our safe houses. Why Alpha Roman is bringing his warriors here is beyond me, but I will not allow my pack, family or my friends to be harmed.

Within thirty minutes We are all done with breakfast and outside getting and giving instructions to the warriors who had accompanied Mohammed and Tony from their packs, while Keisha prepped her squad and the other Legion warriors. I looked at all my friends, my family, My God Father and my Father had come to help, but I insisted they stay at the pack house, they had fought for years protecting this pack, it's my turn now and I will not fail.

'I can sense them little one' I hear Jade say. 'I can too, this won't be pretty Jade' I tell her. 'He woke up and choose violence, so he will die violently if he attacks our pack' I hear before she shuts me out, probably to prepare herself as well.

By the end of the hour I was as at our gate waiting, I could feel my friends close but not within eyesight. Our warriors were covered by the tree line, when I saw a black suv approaching followed by hundreds of wolves. Alpha Roman has one of the largest packs north of Georgia, he easily has five hundred warriors with him, this won't be good. The black suv stops as I walk into the center of the road, his wolves stopping behind them. I can feel anticipation coming from some, thinking I'm an easy kill, I can feel hesitation coming from a few others, but clearly they aren't here just to say hello.

'Alpha Roman, I wasn't expecting anyone today, to what do I owe the pleasure?' I ask, still hoping I won't have to kill this man. 'I am here to see the Alpha, now step aside' he barks using his Alpha tone, seriously, did he think that would work? 'I find myself a bit confused Alpha, you were at my Alpha ceremony just days ago, are you getting forgetful in your old age? I ask. 'Mind you tongue with me child, your father may entertain you, but I will not, now move or be slaughtered like your friend here' he says, I look in the direction of his glance and see Tony in the hands of two of his warriors, without a word, one slashes his throat. His body fell to the ground and the two men laughed. I heard a roar come from inside me that I had never made before, I'm going to slaughter those two men, Alpha Roman, then his entire pack.
