Keisha and I took the long way down to my father's office. I showed her where her suite is, the library, game room, but the she wolf only seemed to care where the dining room and kitchen are, those being "The most important rooms in a house" she told me. We wrapped the tour with a glimpse of the training grounds. 'Oooo, Snacks' she said. 'Vi, half of those men are mated' I tell her. 'Oooh, then the other snacks are for me' she proclaimed. I could do nothing but laugh. Vi gave zero f***s about remaining pure for her mate 'He better just hope I dont reject his ass, cause they never wait' she use to say when I'd ask why she didn't care.

Finally we were in front of my father's office door. I suddenly felt like I was 10 again, about to get in trouble for fighting the Head Omega's granddaughter Marisha for eating the last brownie. 'You ready, In?' Keisha asked. 'No, but they'll know sooner or later, no time like the present ' I said and turned the handle and entered the office.

My parents and Godfather were there waiting. 'What's going on here?' I asked looking from my father to his Beta and back again. 'This young lady is your Beta? my father asked. 'Yes' before I could say anything else I heard Keisha introducing herself, 'Hello Alpha John, Luna, Beta, I am Keisha Baguette of Harvest Moon, a small pack in Northern California, I am proud to be here and cannot wait to start serving The Legion as Beta to Jenn's Alpha', she boasted. My parents looked a tad shocked, most people became shy and quiet in their presence. My father nodded then said the worst thing he could have 'Good, I see you're as strong willed as my daughter, I know the pack will be in the capable hands of two strong she wolves, and since recent events have increased my need for rest, I will be handing over the pack to the two of you by weeks end, now baby girl, what is it you wanted to tell us?' he asked. I stood there dumbfounded for a minute, within a week I'll be the first female to lead a pack, the first to also have a female Beta, oh and let's throw in single mom with a baby who's whole life will be to fulfill a prophecy and become the King of all Alpha's.

My fathers fake cough brought me back from my state of shock and panic, 'Baby Girl?' he said. I swallowed hard and heard myself say 'Thank you for the honor father, Keisha and I will lead with honor and conviction, I'm thrilled and pregnant, I'm sure we can be ready to take over by weeks end' then I turned quickly to escape, before I heard 'What the f**k do you mean pregnant?' except the voice wasn't my fathers, it was my Godfathers. I turned back and looked at him, 'pregnant, as in having a pup, as in knocked up, with child, bun in the oven, not sure how much clearer I can be' I said trying to sound assertive and not scared shitless. 'And where the hell is that jackass of a mate?' he asked. 'I suppose getting ready to f**k another slut at Black Moon, I really don't know, I haven't told him, and it's quite frankly none of his concern, seeing that my son is going to be as "unique" a wolf as his mother, he made his feelings clear. So I will raise my pup, I will protect him and this pack at all costs, and that's the last I want to hear about it.' I said.

'Always knew you were the strongest person I know' I heard, shockingly it came from my mother. 'Wait, so I'm going to be a Papa' my dad said seeming to finally take in everything that had just been said. 'Oh, I think I'll be "Mémé", it's French and sounds so much better than Grandma, don't you think' my mother chimed in.

"Okay, Well, you have fun deciding on what you're going to have my pup call you, Keisha and I have a ceremony to plan' I said grabbing Keisha and pushing her out of the room, glad to have that over with.
