Lucky for me, the skanks my mate chose to screw don't seem to mind him finishing quickly. The pain of his betrayal passed and I went to the bathroom and freshened up, checked my makeup and went down stairs. 'Why didn't you link me, I would've come up and helped you' my mother said. 'I'm okay mom, let's get this s**t over with' I say, heading right out the door and onto the stage.

My father sees me and begins his speech, blah blah blah, my daughter this, daughter that, then I hear him introduce me and hear the cheers from my pack as I take the stage.

'Thank you, I apologize for my tardiness, Had to be fashionably late, I guess' I say jokingly. Then my father and I cut our palms, our blood dripping we grab hands and complete the ritual, as soon as we're done I feel a wave of power surge through my veins and can feel every member of our pack as if they're a part of me. Keisha and my God Father complete their portions and it's time for the two of us to step forward together, the new Alpha and Beta of The Legion.

'My fellow pack members, friends and allies, I want to thank each and every one of you for attending tonight, I know seeing two females lead a pack is a new experience, just know I and Keisha intend to uphold the alliances we have, build new ones and lead The Legion into the next century with the same pride, humility and duty as my father, god father and grandfathers have previously.'

'Now let's party!!!!!!!' I hear Keisha yell from behind me, to the cheers and applause of all those in attendance.

I leave the stage and race back to my room, I want to be in something comfortable, I pull of the heels and dress, grab a green tshirt and pair of jeans and my comfy Adidas sneakers and head back downstairs to enjoy the food and my guests.

'So, no hug for me?' I hear come from behind me. 'You wish I'd hug you, Tony' I say turning around to see my favorite people in the world. The other members of the Seven. Tony, Alpha, Stephen, his Beta, Mohammed, Alpha, Rani, his Luna, and Phillip their Beta all standing in front of me like a dream, I scream and grab Rani, she so would've been our Gamma, if she hadn't been mates with Mohammed. 'So you're not gonna mention that you're pregnant, sis?' she says. 'Really, being all knowing doesn't mean you have to bring it up right now Rani' I say. 'So, it's true?' Tony says. 'Have I been wrong before?' Rani says challenging him. 'No, but I could hope' he quips before walking away. 'He's still mad you two aren't mates' she says. I shake my head and feel a little pang of guilt, Tony had been my first crush and first kiss, I was so hurt when he turned eighteen and I wasn't his mate.

'How long are you guys staying?' I ask. 'Oh I think we have a few days to spare' Mohammed says kissing Rani on the top of her head before walking away to grab more food. 'He knows what this means, we have to train with you and get ready' she says. 'Have you seen anything yet?' I ask, praying to the Moon Goddess she hasn't seen my or my pups future yet. 'Not to much, but I can feel Cane'. Damn, how powerful is my pups wolf that he can be felt before my pup is even born. 'He is powerful sis, He will be a force like no other, kinda like his momma' she said, grabbin my hand to comfort me.

'Come on, its time for the run' I say, and within seconds I mindlink everyone, run and jumping off the porch in my human form and landing as Jade, her translucent fur shimmering under the full moon. I hear Jade let out a howl, which was followed by howls of all the wolves in attendance. I see Keisha and the others of the seven beside me, just like old times I think, for a second nothing had changed, it was us against the world, leaving our homes to become a psuedo family, learning to control our gifts and about our destiny. I see my parents wolves step up and with another howl, Jade takes off into the night leading our first run as Alpha.
