Hunter walks into the office and looks at Kandis. She still has her head down looking down at the floor. He smiled to himself as he walks up to her and lifts her head.

"You don't have to be scared to look up at me anymore." I kiss her forehead and wrapped my arms around her. She just stood there not moving for a moment, Then hugs him tight.

"What if he comes back?" She says looking at me. He look at her with easy eyes and smirk.

"I kill him. He had hurt u. I won't forgive him for that." I said with a smile. I take her hand in mine. We walk out of the office everyone was looking at us and then started to holler like crazy.

"About time you find her man. I thought-" One of the males start to say as Daltons' elbow jabs him in the stomach. I seen Kandis smirking a little which makes me feel so much better.

We started to walk outside. She looks around in aw as she was able to actually see things.

"It's huge" She says as she keeps walking in front yard and looking at all the other houses and the kids running around. She smiled big like she never seen so many kids playing.

"It's not that big." I said back just watching her. She looks at me and walks up to me.

"wanna see our room?" I asked her. Her eyes went big and she started to shake her head as a no. I got scared for a moment and hugged her.

"Ok we can ease up to u being with me. I won't force you to be in the room with me love." I said to her as a whisper and kept holding her. She hugs me back and nods.

Through out the rest of the day we spent outside playing with the kids and everything. WE all decide to have a nice BBQ day outside. We went and got everything ready for it as Kandis still was playing with toddler. I look at her and smile Dalton walks up to me and smirk.

"She's very beautiful man." Dalton says as standing beside me. I look at him and smiled. I just hope she don't end up dying while given birth to our first child.

"Doctor?!?" I screamed holding Grace in my arms. Her body was limp not moving, Her breath was hallow. She barely can keep her eyes open. I was in the office all day was busy dealing with Alpha duties. About 1 in the morning I was done, I went straight up to our room I walk in and the smell of blood hit my nose.

"Baby?!?" I yelled looking everywhere. I went to our bathroom and seen her laying on the floor with blood everywhere. I rush over to her and pick her head up.

"Oh baby please are u ok?" I asked trying to get her to answer me. She didn't she just close her eyes. I pick up her body and run out the room with her. The doctor comes in fast as I place her on the table.

"Alpha I need you to leave for now ok? I'll come for u if anything happens" Doctor says closing the door in front of me. I stayed the whole night waiting what it feels like Dalton comes down and sees me.

"Hey I just heard is she ok man?" He asked worry. I shake my head and start to cry.

"I don't know man he hasn't come out yet or even say anything." I said trying to hold back my tears. Dalton sits beside me and rubs my back. Doctor comes out with blood all over him. He looks down with sadness.

"I'm sorry..I-I couldn't save either one of them Alpha." He said as he fight back his tears. My world ended right there I lost both people who I had loved and I didn't know how to handle it. Dalton had to handle all of my business from there on.

I keep looking at my mate as she plays with the toddler, Then I walk over to her and smiled.

"Hey Hunter look at her." She beamed up. Her face little up as the baby started laugh.

"Do u wanna go get ready for tonight?" I asked bends down looking at the both of them. She nods her head and stands up with the toddler.

"Let me find her mom and I'll go get ready." Kandis says as she start to walk away. I shake my head as I realized I'm falling for and I didn't even know her that well. I walked around back to checked everything Austin my Delta walks up to me and smile at me.

"Hunter my man." He says as throwing his arm around me.

"Hey man." I reply back.

"So, You find her again." He says with smile. I smiled at him and nod.

"Man that's good, I'm happy u got another chance at love." I smiled and sigh as I can smell her. I turned and see her at the door standing there shy. I walk up to her and touch her cheek. She sigh and rubbed her face in palm.

"You look stunning baby." I said as I look into her eyes. I wanted to kiss her and make her feel loved. She looks up at me and smiled. We walked outside and started to have fun with everyone.

After sometimes around 11 we decided to head in to bed. I had told everyone tomorrow will be a off day I wanted to spend time with my mate. As me and Kandis walks up she turns to me as we got to her room. I wrap my arms around her and lean my forehead against hers.

" I want to kiss u." I said with my eyes was closed. She wrap her arms around me.

"I- um want to kiss u too." She said blushing hard. Which made her even more sexy. I lean my head down to her our lips barely touching. She moved first and kissed me which was sweet and soft.
