Madelyn was hoping to get some shots today so she decided she was going to leave once she helps to pack the stuff the kids used which was hopefully by sun down. She helped the care takers to pack up all the equipments a d they disassembled the make shift stage, the tables and then the chairs. She was just getting the big wide curtain that was used as a drape for the stage when she felt a tug on the dress she was wearing. looking down she was met with the same wide eyed kid from earlier, Collin. She smiled down at him and proceeded to finish what she was doing but just as she eas folding it amd about to step down from the ladder he spoke up to her. "Maddy do you believe in supernatural beings?" He asked but Madelyn was caught off guard. Seeing that she was quiet, he asked again. "Do you? Do you believe that werewolves are real?" No she doesn't but she definitely couldn't tell him that and crush him further so instead she smiled and got down first. "Hmmm but you believe in them don't you?" She asked once she was down still wearing a comforting smile on her face. He nodded at her. "Then if you do that's fine because sweetie your belief alone is enough and it doesn't matter if no one else does because you do" She said to him. She watched as the boy's eyes lightened up and let out a very happy grin before hugging her legs and mumuring thank you. He leaned back and made a show for her to come closer to him. Madelyn leaned down just in time for him to give her a swift kiss on her cheek. She gasped and gave him one back leaving the boy a blushing mess with the heat spreading all over his face and ears. "Thank you Maddy!" He said and running off before she could even reply to him. It was moments like these that Madelyn lives for. She hastened up her work and soon bid the kids good bye and headed back home to get her night lens and other stuff. Deciding to just enjoy and live in the moment, she decided to just cover the distance by foot after all it wasn't much. She looked around the city of New York and how it's people where buzzing around. Alot of shops were still open because her in New York, night time is even more vibrant than day time. She saw a couple seating on a bench and immediately knew they were tourist. How? maybe it was the light she saw in their curious eyes as they looked around the place if not then it was the camera around their necks but she just knew she was right. Unfortunately, once Madelyn got to her building, she began to feel the stress of the day settling in and her dimmed because she knew once she was tired, she won't be able to go out take the snaps she intended on this beautiful evening. However, knowing that she could get the best of both worlds by going in and freshening up then sleeping in early but also rising early just before dawn, she could get both the post-night time and pre-day time which to her sounds like a win-win. One thing still stuck to her brain. Was she right or do supernatural beings exist? Why would a little kid even be bothered about that. Meanwhile..... "Word has been going round since the day the new Alpha of the Crescent Moon park was crowned. why does the Alpha not have a mate?" "Now people are begining to question if he is fit to be Alpha without a mate?" "And that is just what we want isn't it?" "Yes and we can finally get out revenge for all their kind have done to us" "Yes indeed. The fun part is he won't see it coming" The buzzing sound of her alarm clock on her bedside had her stirring in her sleep. The thought that she would get snaps shot worthy of her lost sleep had her sitting up on her twin sized bed with a yawn. She went into her bathroom and freshened up before coming back out to the room and changing out of her shorts and tank top into a blue sweat set with white stripes. She got her running shoes and quickly put them on just in time to notice the clock just hit 4:10 am. She was feeling like a night walker out of Game of Thrones. She got her camera and lenses and headed out after locking her door and putting her keys in the pocket of her sweats. She plugged in her headphones and she broke into a jog the rest of the way. The plan was to go into the clearing she noticed last week on her way back from the cafè she worked at part time. The scenery was so calming and if not because she was tired that day she would have definitely stopped for some shots that day. The weather was slightly breezy but she thought it was just because it was night time. If her friend Aaliyah was to see her right now she would call her crazy for going out at this time knowing how the city could be dangerous sometimes and she would simply tell her to live life because we only live once and then she would go anyway. She pulled the hood of the sweatshirt back up as it threatened to come off. She soon got to the clearing and today the moon was up and shining. It seemed it was a full moon telling by how big it looked. It almost looked as if she could reach it if she stretched just a little bit more. The entire place was quiet save for the chirps coming from the crickets and maybe some birds too. She began taking her pictures- mostly of the moon. Something about it today seemed different but indeed beautiful. She checked a shot she had taken when she felt as if she was being watched. Her blood immediately ran cold so she looked up but didn't see anyone. Deciding it was just the scary thoughts Aaliyah always instils in her, she carried on snapping pictures until the bush she was standing close to looked as if it was moving. She stilled just in time to see the sun rising. The scary feeling flew out the window and she quickly brought her camera to her eye to capture the moment. After some shots she decided it was enough for now and turned to head back home. It never ceases to amaze her how early new yorkers are even though most of them stay up really late. She soon got back home and she got rid of the sweatset and jumped right back into bed since her next shift at the cafe was not till afternoon, she decided to catch up on some well deserved sleep.
