Kora’s POV The compound shook with the force of Aaron’s arrival. His howl rolled across the battlefield like thunder, so deep it rattled my bones. Every wolf froze, friend and foe alike, as if the sound itself demanded submission. I gripped the window frame so hard my knuckles went white. Edward met him in the center, his wolf towering, silver fur glowing faintly under the breaking dawn.
