"It's been almost a month since the bad experience happened," I said, taking a deep breath. We were at the mall, a world away from the chaos of the past few weeks. Robert had driven us here, but he had to leave right away because of an urgent job at his office. He couldn't leave without his secretary, Theo, and even though he was hesitant to leave us, he had no choice.
The kids were having a blast at the Play area, their favorite spot at the mall.
