Jane's POV
Gabriel is here, and I'm so happy! I can't believe he followed us here in the province. I don't plan to stay here long, though. I'm also thinking about Aireen. School is close by, and I don't want to hold her back from learning.
I'm ready to put up with Robert's rudeness if he doesn't shape up. But here he is, begging for forgiveness. Of course, I still love him, and I miss him too.
"Mommy!" I turn to the gate when I see Elias arriving. He runs to me and hugs me tight.
"Haysst, mommy's boy is here," I hear Eira say, and I laugh. Robert laughs too. Elias glares at Eira, and Aireen bursts out laughing.
"Mommy, are you okay? We were so worried. Why did you leave so suddenly? You didn't even say goodbye," Elias asks. I smile at him and touch his face. He looks like his father.
