A sweet smile graced my lips as I walked slowly, my name announced by the emcee. I eagerly made my way to the hall where the party was taking place.
Before I reached the hall, Jake greeted me, presenting me with a bouquet. I accepted them with a smile, feeling a jolt of electricity course through my veins as our hands brushed. He looked incredibly handsome in his suit, and I felt like I was floating on a cloud. My knees went weak, and my chest pounded with a mix of excitement and nervousness. It was as if my knight in shining armor had arrived, and we were about to be married.
