Jane's POV
We're at the mansion, waiting for Aireen and Eira to get back from their shopping trip. Today's the big day – we're giving Aireen her gift. It's a car! I'm sure she'll be thrilled. It means she's officially allowed to drive herself around whenever she wants. She's at the perfect age for it, and we want to give her some freedom.
Of course, there are still limits. As long as she doesn't neglect her studies, we're good. We did the same thing with the twins, Elias and Eira when they turned eighteen. We gifted them both cars, and they became so much more responsible and confident. They’re independent now, and we’re all happy about it.
"Do you think Aireen will like her new car?" Robert asks me.
"If she doesn't want that car, it's mine." I joke. He laughs and pokes my nose.
